omg i got a shoutout in an xstbe video holy crap i'm freaking out 🥵💦 You bring up a very good point about his passive though. I've complained about the bloated kit since day 1, but I failed to consider just how useless branding this bloat as a "passive" really is. After all, if it's up 100% of the time because that's just how Omen is played, then why make the passive at all? Why not just make the grip inherently apply burn, the gourd inherently apply slow, etc.? It would help the bloat a lot if the passive was axed and the abilities got some (though not all) of their special effects put into base kit. It would also make him much easier to balance, and they'd likely be able to make more interesting and dynamic talents as a result.

Yeah the passive is the main thing that I really dislike about omen, it's just more stuff that's slapped onto him for no reason. It feels lazy and like they just want to make him seem complex when he isn't. Plus it definitely ruins ideas for unique talent design for him.

Heard the shrill laughter at the beginning and now, I can confidently say, as a certified JoJo Men enjoyer, this video is good. Real shit tho, this is a good vid, reminds me of Helvian's vids when he talked about balancing. Think you can do one about Koga and the sudden surge of Clawgas roaming the realm? I'd assume people are just finding out that the card that extends his claw time is bugged. I think its increasing the uptime by like 60% instead of 30%. Also claws are just pretty strong at the moment with the piercing and movement speed buff they got.

"Bloat for bloat's sake" is a word that applies to like half the characters released since 2020 lol. If a champ has some passive named "Onsidious Kill' or some shit I know they're gonna be an entire essay for a kit that's just worse than Cassie. EDIT: I'm so fucking happy someone else found the "Ugh I'm too angry! I need to get going!" Line. I put it on the soundboard of my friends discord server it's so fucking funny.

ngl I am fine with characters I play getting critisized for being bad/dysfuntional because it draws attention to them. which means it is more likely for them to receive buffs/fixes in the future^^ it has happened in the past and I hope it happens to omen. I still think he is very fun to play btw

I've said that Omen is so gosh dang irrelevant he makes Vivian look like a main character. His design is cool objectively, but he looks like a mini-boss in a D&D game. I wouldnt be adding anything to the conversation if I spoke about supports, everyone has already said to the devs supports are dumb. At the time time of making this video no-one had spoken about omen (obviously andrew made released his video as I was making mine). Omen is needed to be spoken about especially his design and what he does. This video explains a lot more than just his talents and cards
