But conservatism is also the feeling that things should stay the same, the way they've always been. Conservatives have more fear of change than Liberals. That's the main difference of the two, so from that standpoint I can understand conservatives pushback. But you're right, there's a difference between upholding simple traditions and upholding harmful sentiments. I feel like conservatives wish to preserve themselves instead of living together in peace.

What I found interesting is that a lot of Conservative commentators are of groups that aren't "Straight White Cis Males". For example, Milo (who is kind of dumb) is Gay, Ben Sharpiro is a Jew, Blaire White is trans, and Someblackguy is, well, black. There is a difference between Conservatism and Republicanism, Liberalism and Democratism (not a word but okay). It's also worth mentioning the differences Between Left and Right, and Libertarian and Authoritarian.

Its consistency that doesn't have to prove anything. The people aspire to be honest and COMMON. Liberlas promise the world, use nice sounding words like preachers and then are scum bags if you arent a clone of other people in their lives. They aspire to be elite and POWERFUL. I want no labels. I want everyone to just respect eachother and NOT CARE what others think. Follow the agreed rules. Stop caring if opinions are right or wrong. To who? Good ones I watch often are Facts Matter with Roman Balmakov, Crossroads with JOSHUA PHILIPP (more in depth), and Forbes Breaking News (I'm not sure if they are conservatives, I just found them the other day). For more commentaries/news you can try Larry Elder, Rubin Report, Sky News Australia, and even Fox News (Tucker, I think). The point is, I listen to the MSM like CNN, then look for responses to arguments (more like accusations) made there. That's easily done and debunked. But it's very difficult to find answers to points raised from the conservative side in the MSM/CNN. After a while, you start seeing the pattern that most of the things said on MSM are massively edited biased garbage with an agenda. Those on the conservative side are biased too, of course, but are more factual.

The thing that really amazes me about American politics is this: There was so little discussion on policy when candidates were in the spotlight. It seems to me most people were voting on which was their favourite character rather than what they actually bring to the table. Ah, so you have no idea what you're talking about regarding the "gay wedding cake" thing. The case in question involves a baker who was explicitly targeted by a powerful law firm run by lesbians because of his religious beliefs. I pulled up a map of bakeries that make cakes in the same town as well as the location of the law firm. There were no shortage of cake makers closer to the office (into the double digits, I believe) and his bakery was pretty well out of the way, so there is absolutely zero basis for the argument that his refusal to craft custom cakes that support causes he disagrees with caused any sort of hardship on the lesbians that came after him. They also made sure to choose a seemingly innocuous color combo (pink and blue, one color inside and one outside) and tell him this first (which he agreed he could do), then dropped the purpose (a "coming out" party) on him, at which point he refused. Had they not told him that he would be making something in direct opposition to his morality, he would have made it. You are the classic example of the leftist who has strong convictions against people who disagree without understanding anything about why the disagreement exists. Your positions are wrong and you repeat second-hand opinions that you don't actually fully understand.

Respectfully I used to identify as a democrat from the ages of 10 to about 19 and even called myself a feminist, then I got to college and was pretty much told that I would get kicked out of class if I didn’t agree with the democratic ideas that all of my professors held and also that since I am a straight, white male I was not allowed to give my opinion because I had never experienced any kind of “oppression” .... at that moment I realized that I could never identify as a Democrat because they are the party that is actively suppressing ideas that go against their core beliefs.. I can pay you 6$/h, invest in your training and improve your productivity so that you are able to contribute more towards the company and warrant a higher wage. It's a win win. The biggest victims of minimum wage are the entry level workers without workex and skills. In fact, Minimum wage has historically been used as a racist and sexist tool to disincentivize the hiring of black people and women (especially mothers).

We love to "stereo-type" everything, and its no longer about manners, morals and ethics in this country anymore, unless it is done in a way that allows us to make up the rules as we go. THATS what most Americans think is their "rights". Its a nauseating thing to watch for the elderly, because some of them remembered a time when despite religions, political party, or job status, everyone agreed on where the line of what was right, and what was wrong was, which were basic christain values even if you didnt practice a religion. But today, we have more people in this country that dont even believe in a god, let alone follow any of thyose values. So, they made their own up. We have black people here that have been brewing hatred of whites for 200 years, and we have more and more cultural diversity than ever, and they all want their own way, they want the milk and honey of America, but they want to run the country their way. I have no problem with just say the LGBT community, its a big world, and they deserve the same human survival as anyone else. But, when you start getting crappy toward me and mine because we dont share those interests, we will have a problem, and a BIG one. Just like young blacks blaming white people for the drug problems they chose to have, its bullshit. For instance the trans thing, its pyschotic to even THINK you can change your own gender. Want to do so, go ahead. But if I know you were born with a penis, to me you are, and always will be a male, despite how much a doctor may franken-trans you. I am NOT saying this from fear, Im saying this from basic realistic logic.If you have not got that, thats your shit, not mine. Point is we are not all the same, which is why the term we are all created equal is as stupid as beliving some god in heaven is going to punish with burning to death for ever if you dont live how he wants you to, but he loves you. Thats why the sudden hatred to republicans, most are religious, and believe you have to make your own way. Liberals think the rich should pay and fund everybody else that does not. It's really basically not the politics, but the lines of what's right and wrong, ethical and not that is the real division, but to enforce what they want, they have to get the government to force it, or else they just get laughed at, so that's why it's become republicans against democrats. I used to be independent, but the last democrat I voted for was Bill Clinton, until I watched him lie under oath, watched his wife stay with him because of political gain, and watched them both invest in the prison industry, then give out harsh sentences over petty crimes to fill them up. Some people can’t even afford to be pregnant. Giving birth can cost up to $11,000 if you need a c-section it can cost up to $14,500, that doesn’t include all the doctors visits throughout the pregnancy. What’s worse is if you don’t have good insurance the numbers I just gave you skyrocket. Beyond that being pregnant often puts working class people at risk of being fired or at least a demotion. AND paid maternity leave isn’t required in the US so if you’re living paycheck to paycheck it’s just not possible to follow through with a pregnancy, even if you’re planning to give up the child.

I will give you the disclaimer right off the batt that I am a Religious Conservative. This was a fantastic video. The definition you gave for what constitutes a conservative is near perfect. That is very much how I describe my own views in detail to folks. The grievances you have expressed against the Republican party are very similar to my own. I do maintain my registration with them, but frankly that is just so that the crazies aren't the only ones left. There are a good number of us trying to reclaim it. I also love the point you made about bigotry and moralism being imposed on our societie under the guise of religious freedom. As previously stated I am a very religious person and am pretty conservative in my views on societee and moral conduct. That being said, I do not believe it is my right to impose my moral views on others. Don't like guns? Then don't buy one. Don't like abortions? Then don't have one. Don't like the marijuana? Then don't smoke it. You get the idea. Anyway, this was a fantastic video. I'll admit I was anxious about it after seeing the title, but I'm glad curiosity got the best of me.
