Its because Dana thinks (and knows) there won't be any major financial consequences for anything he does. The UFC has become 'too big to fail', it will never go out of business and Dana will continue to earn a huge amount of money as its CEO and it doesn't matter what money-grubbing decision he makes, he will always come out the other end with more money.

I have zero interest in the slap fighting but I would love to see Dana put together a UFC team fighting league. Each team would have 1 man for each weight class. Fight 3 rounds at 3 minutes per round or two rounds at 5 minutes. Scoring system similar to team wrestling. At the end of the regular season you would have a super bowl of mma. If could bring so much to the sport. Teams/gyms could recruit new upcoming talent. It would get countries and or states more involved by supporting their home team. Flip a coin to allow the team to pick which weight class to start with. The could make sure their last fight has one of their strongest fighters. Ko's count 6 pt. Subs count 5 or 6. Unanimous dec counts 4. Split counts 3. Draw 2 each team.
