Ive felt this for a lot of tamil movies as well. Most people would praise it but I would be criticizing certain parts of it. And they would tell me "Just see the movie as movie, don't analyse it too much" But for me, movie is not just a movie. The media influences people's life and media has a responsibility in society. I hate objectifying women in tamil movies, glorifying stalking in most movies (extreme case in Remo SMS movies), vulgar and violence words like Arjun reddy movie. I didn't understand why some women also liked that movie. I couldn't even watch after the first scene. I also feel that even movies with sexual violence focuses more on the male pride of saviour rather than showing empathy for victims. It's so difficult and triggering. I feel in an effort of creating awareness, they dehumanize the survivors.

Did she live foe others? That's a great point. She's also a human and she's not alive. The lines in the book, even though fictional is wrong and gives the reader a very wrong and ugly message. Whatever wonder that book contains, it's not worth reading just because of this story.

I remember feeling hurt while watching the movie Prince, where Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of a teacher. In one scene, the principal of the school calls Sivakarthikeyan's father to complain about a mistake he made. Although it was intended to be a funny moment in the movie, it reminded me of my own experiences as a teacher. Sometimes, the school Principal & staff would call my mother even if I didn't answer their call on the first ring or communicate with me directly. As a grown-up woman, I felt they didn't have to involve my mother in these matters. I understand that the scene was meant to be humorous, but it still hurt me deeply. I just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about this scene.

I don't know whether you are going to read this or believe this. Yesterday,I felt the same way while reading the book "Alchemist" The way they describe desert women like they don't have any dreams to realise or treasure to find and their only concern is to wait for their man who may or may not return from his journey to find his tresure. Everyone said it was a good book but I couldn't ignore this disturbance while reading these lines. Thank you for making this video ❤️ I can feel now that I am not alone in this

the book name vasipathu epdadi by jayaganthan that was a nice book but some how it created more question about many things... for example in that book in second half he said that even every important things happening in a family or any decision need to be take! the first preferable and responsible person is the one who read book. and also he will describe even marragie decision will be taken by a reading person ,... that make me feel that was not a justice or its like fishy for me. apart from that i took his last thing is to spread the knowledge of books. also he compare reading habit with the knowledge. i know that it will give or we will acquired knowledge but some how its unfar

I don't know about this book in a detailed version. I came to know it's about a tamarind tree that describes its own story and surroundings. I think that may the locality accept these words where it's spoken even when women or many men don't accept it. We don't know that. Ananthi i think we are all educated now and our exposure is higher than the previous generation that's why we are voicing out. Women should not be objectified. It's true we can't accept the words now...we respect your opinion some will move from this somebody could not. It's quite natural. But i remember most of the people praised this book 😢

being uncomfortable with literature is acceptable, but glorifying village is a PRIVELIEGED mentality, your experience is not reality.
