instead of calling it a reset day, you could call it an "admin day" aka a day dedicated to laundry, chores, appointments, etc. so you dont feel bad about the other days being so spontaneous.

Something that helps sundays feel less overwhelming is doing small things throughout the week. I do laundry one day, vacuum the next, change the sheets, etc. That way I don’t feel forced to do those tasks all in one day and I’ve turned sundays into complete rest days. Those days can look completely different but I do something to make me happy and calm for the next week

I personally love resets!! I oftentimes get so caught up in stress, anxiety, and depression that a reset helps me feel refreshed, refocused, and recharged vs. feeling stuck in patterns I don't want to personally be stuck in. For me at least, I don't do it out of guilt, but instead to help me get encouraged to get back on the path I want to be on, but felt stuck on. I do it whenever I feel its needed, but I used to do it once a week when it felt good to do that. Just do what feels right for you; what works for some won't work for others. xoxo

Personally loveeee them too. It is more for an opportunity to check in with myself after a long week and see what I personally want or need. Usually I take a long bath, do my nails, tan, watch tv, eat better and become more in tune with my inner self! I see it as a great opportunity to reset after hard times.

A reset day isn’t necessarily a day where you feel guilt for the other days. For me it‘s more of a day to reset my mind and reflect on the week and prepare myself for the next week - not only mentally but also by doing laundry, grocery shopping, meal prepping, etc. to make it easier for myself. Especially for those who work regular 9-5, it can be very beneficial. ☺️ Not being mean or anything but I think I have to disagree with you on the things you said in this video.

I don’t think one should feel guilty for a reset day and then just living the rest of the week. I personally love reset videos. Like you said, laundry and other tasks sometimes naturally end up on the same day. There are other tasks though (and I’m speaking for myself) that if I do them before I start my week allow me to enjoy my week or relax throughout my week. For example, laundry. If I don’t take care of it before the week starts than it’s in the back of my head almost constantly especially when trying to decide what I will wear to work/working out. The other cleaning tasks that are a big part of reset videos also help me relax throughout the week too because I know that after work I can go home and do whatever I want to do bc the major house cleaning is already done 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would say maybe consider thinking of reset days as a gift to your future-self. Another thing to consider is you don’t have to have a reset day every single week. Or the exact day of every week. Let your life tell you when you need them and how often. 💗 I say this all with love and am 100% not trying to invalidate how you feel about resets days. After all we’re all entitled to our own opinions. Just thought I’d tell you about my pov

I personally really love splitting my weeks in two by having “reset days” on Wednesdays and Sundays. On those days I make sure to reflect on my week and the things I want to do and do chores. I use those days to slow down and they’re usually my rest days as well

I say this genuinely - I hope you're doing okay! You've just seemed a tad chaotic in recent videos, which is totally okay and understandable given the major life change you're going through. Just take care of yourself!

I think it’s harder for you cos you work from home and there’s no clear division on weekdays when it’s time for work and weekends when it’s time to rest and prep for the new week

i remember hearing someone say this in the beginning of my wellness journey and thought it'd be interesting to share.. it is the concept that health and fitness is a lifestyle and not something that should be on "reset" every week/season, hence having that "reset" mentality kinda sets up for periods of unhealthy behavioural practices,.. and since then i have shifted to think of healthy habits as "compliments" to my ongoing life, which had help me to achieve a balance mindset! (all and all, i do love watching the aesthetic "weekly reset" videos though hahha)
