I’ll be honest Nate, and I think you would find this true for most people, I don’t subscribe to channels for the content primarily, but for the person presenting the content. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll unsub from Channel Makers but they have to earn it 😊

You are such a hypocrite Rick. On your own channel, in the comment section of your latest video, you claimed that Nate betrayed you. Nate!!!! thanks for posting this. I was on vacation for a couple of days, came back to mow the grass and throw on my favorite youtube channel....and then cried the rest of the way through mowing the grass when I saw the goodbye video. That sounds stupid, but I started my youtube channel (under another account, not here) back before you and Anna recorded the 52 videos all at once. I watched it start to catch fire when you started talking about shorts, and most of all I learned so much from you as you grew and shared with us. I appreciate all of the time and effort you put into the channel and the info you shared and research you did. We know it was you - that's why you had such a following. Your videos had SO much research and technique behind it, that anyone who watches can tell that the info didn't come from Ricky or Anna or Nathaniel or anyone else. It's all you. Most of us were there somewhat for the content but mostly because we love you! I wanted to post here because I wasn't sure you would see it in the project 24 thread. I want to say this as encouragement and as the highest compliment, but seeing you leave was as devastating as when Jim left. I'm not leaving P24, I still need all the guidance in your videos, but if you decided to have your own info product I'd gladly sign up. At the very least i'll be here to boop the like button and support wherever you go next. Thank you again for all that you've shared with us.

Thank you so so much for the clarification and transparency in this video. I highly appreciate absolutely everything you did over the years with Channel Makers. My finances have been limited so I wasn't able to join project 24 when I wanted to, HOWEVER you are the reason why I began structuring my channel project properly last year and I wouldn't have done it without all the info you offered in the videos. I will follow you anywhere because I can see the love and dedication you've done in the years. I am so grateful you started your own channel and your own project. I can't wait to see what you'll do moving forward. Thank you for being such a great source of inspiration!

Hi Nate, I just realized Channel Makers wasn't your personal channel. Even the tiny blue room you filmed in had that spare room with a backlight vibe we all have filming from home. Only when I joined Project 24 did I see all these other people involved, and I thought, "Who are these guys?" From a business perspective, it makes total sense what you are doing. At least in my opinion, You have started to achieve what all KZbinrs yearn to achieve, where people start showing up to the channel for you, not just the information you share. When that starts to happen, it doesn't make a lot of sense for someone else to reap the rewards for that. I wish you the best of luck. I still feel like much of the success iv had on KZbin in the last six months was down to your contributions to Project 24, so thank you for that. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next.

I've been following you since you joined P24. I was myself a member there for many years, and you truly made the KZbin path in P24 what it is today. I'm honored to have the privilege to follow you from the start of a new jouney again. TLDR; in before 100k plaque!

5 years ago I left a job I adored because for one reason and another it wasn’t working for me any more so I have a lot of respect for this. Thank you for explaining further, things make more sense now. You seem much more relaxed in this delivery I’m happy for you. I never really commented on your videos on cm but I never missed an upload. I enjoyed your delivery more than the content (after 5 years of watching this type of content I had given up on most of the other channels). I’d always click to watch straight away. The parasocial relationship is interesting! Anyway I know you’ll rock this new channel and grow even bigger. I look forward to seeing what your next moves are. Good for you, Nate 😊

You got thisss! Solo creation is very doable. I have been doing it, of cause with my husband, and I doubt I will ever get a team because I learnt that it is not that necessary. I only have a management team to handle brand deals, otherwise I do everything myself and I love it. Mind you, we have 4 small children and we homeschool. I learnt the art of planning and I love it!!!

Channel Makers came across my radar not too long ago. Initially, I was taken aback, thinking, "What a peculiar character this guy is." Upon viewing a second video, I reconsidered, "Actually, he's not so odd, and he does present some compelling points." As time progressed, I found myself increasingly drawn to your subtly amusing and highly informative content. Your sudden exit stirred a sense of sadness within me, reminiscent of a wonderful friendship that had concluded prematurely.

I'm so glad you have your own channel now! And I'll buy whatever you're selling in a heartbeat!! I'm glad all that work at CM was really YOU behind it. Really appreciate you took the time to clarify everything we all had on our minds. Really provides closure so we can end our self-doubts and sleepless nights! Creative differences always happen, even for me as a bassist and music producer. It's only a natural progression. I'm actually really and honestly glad you've not given up on KZbin and that you're not done with creation! You're probably one of the best teachers on the subject on KZbin. I was worried that that last video on CM and IS would be the last we'll ever see of you! That would've been absolutely devastating! I totally understand wanting creative ownership, in anything that you've put so much effort into. I really, really love that you're doing your own thing now cos you so deserve your own audience and followers. It's so understandable to delegate tasks so you can maximise efficiency and instead, focus entirely on research and content planning, which is what matters most. I appreciate your strength and skills in research and finding solutions for us mere KZbin mortals when we need it most. I also think you're brave and fearless to do what you did/have to do and to act quickly when guts tells you to. Everybody moves at their own pace. I'm just as impatient and needs things to move quickly too. I only wished I knew you were leaving so I could stay up past midnight and join one of the P24 Masterminds and just be there for your last session. But that's ok! You're here! I'm with P24 for blogging but it was you, your voice, your on-camera charisma, your genuine personality and contagious enthusiasm that brought me to P24 in the first place. And like I've mentioned at the P24 forum, which you've responded to, I still and whole heartedly respect and support your decision. I'm very excited for you and I'm watching this space very closely! And please don't ever change! P.S. Also I wanna mention that I love that you're 'back to square one', still in the midst of setting things up and everything is still work-in-progress. It's like having Nate back again, only this time, we're really with you on your journey from the beginning.

Twenty years ago, I did pretty much the same thing. I was an employee but knew I was destined to steer my own journey. In those years, I've helped numerous small businesses grow their business. Now I find myself again building a new business, and it's you, Nate, helping me build mine this time. I'll stick with P24 and follow the program. I'll stick with CM because they will still bring great content. Nate, I will follow you blindly because I know your heart is good, and your insight on YT is worth its weight in gold! I know starting your own journey can be financially challenging. So I'll gladly make a monthly donation to help keep the wheels going there at Nate HQ. 🙂 Ps. It's good you've cleared the air, and now both CM and yourself can get on with the day job. Pss. Unless someone has you nailed down, you own 'Howdy Howdy' and 'Booping the Like'...rock on!

Absolutely, 100%, gotta look after #1 ! It’s always difficult moving on from a job you love and have dedicated so much of your life to, without needing to go through all of the turmoil, emotions and transition in public! Sounds like the right decision for you and the CM team in the long term and I wish you both well. You’ve helped me massively getting my small channel off the ground, and I wish you and your family all the best! Take care, Chaz 👍🏻

Hi Nate, I've followed CM since I started my own channel from the beginning of last year. You've been so helpful in giving useful advices and I really like your teaching style. I'm so glad that I can find you from your new channel from the comments. I wish that they could have introduced your new channel there as an acknowledgement. The way you said bye there really show how respectful you are and how graceful you are. As a content creator, I could imagine what a complex feeling that you must have had with all the decision making. Not easy at all. We will continue to support you with your new adventures. And yes, I count your dear wife and children as part of your team because their support for you motivate what you have been doing. Keep up your good work! *P.S. Howdy-howdy really represents you, so if you use that, I believe that the majority of us connect this greeting to you directly. It's a Nate thing. Either way, all the best with your new journey!

I’m so glad to see you back! I’ll be honest I was shocked that Channel Makers wasn’t your own personal channel. I’m glad you have your own space now and you fully deserve to have your own ad revenue direct as I didn’t subscribe to Channel Makers for other people it was you directly. You’ve helped to inspire me 😊 I hope you will continue to provide similar style videos but whatever you do you will be amazing! 🎉 While I won’t unsubscribe from channel makers the channel with you felt like a unique niche as it was one person (so I thought) there’s already a large channel ThinkMedia that fills the gap of KZbin advice from a large brand/company with multiple presenters etc. I wish them well but I’ll keep getting my advice from you 😊
