I'm not sure what is going on with the comments but some of you are reading too hard into this video or downright malicious, or both. Many foreigners in China haven't gone home in 2 years, Jared in particular also explained that his father is getting surgery. Those who have ill intent towards Jared will naturally say it's an excuse. But you people who try to imply he has ill feeling about China should also shut up. Afu and Jared could have had flown out two years ago like other foreigners. Take your ugly words out of here.

@@ffbeexaid4509 I can understand being frustrated with foreigners who profitted off China yet badmouths her once they cannot anymore, or the ones who always have malicious intentions. Sadly, those people exist aplenty and part of the problem that resulted in these haters. On another hand, some haters just hate on Jared and Afu just because they are foreigners, but not acknowledging the years they put into learning about China. Unless Jared and Afu show covert signs, I think people should watch what they are saying.

I feel so happy for you, Jared!!! I haven't been home for also more than 3 years now, since the summer of my high school senior year, and I still couldn't get a ticket this summer. I have a couple of families and friends passing away during the years and now my grandfather is really sick. I keep myself extremely busy so I don't have time or energy to think about home at all. I was and am trying so hard not to let guilt and sadness get the best in me. This video literally gave me hope. I hope all those who hasn't been able to go home can find their way back safely and soundly soon. Please keep creating great contents!!!

My family can relate to this. My family and I got to Beijing, China every year during the summer. Since during summer, I got no school. But because of Covid, my family hadn’t go back to China for 3 years. My grandad died earlier this year because of natural death in Beijing. He was 86.
