Being our authentic selves is a learned technique in this world today. I’m still trying to figure it out. I am ready to “take that step back” now. I’ve also learned the same points that you have made here. I would rather be living in a shed and love genuinely then in a mansion and only love myself. I love this vlog, Jane! I’ve watched it three times now. ❤ I so enjoyed watching you harvest while listening to your true and honest words. And I keep meaning to tell you that I love your clothes. This linen dress is so feminine and beautiful! I’ve recently switched to wearing only linen and I can’t believe the difference in how I feel. The pain from inflammation in my elbows is completely gone and I have survived the heat wave here more gracefully than I EVER have in the past. There is just a fresh and uplifting state of well being that comes with it. And I’m pretty sure that heaven smells something like clean linen when you first bring it in from the line. 😆

I can relate to every single thing you are saying. The internet caused a lot of mental problem. It's influenced a lot of people to try to be something that they are not I spend more time in my garden than I spend doing any other things. One thing I disagree with you. You said it's a simple life. Living the way her you Living, That is amazing life. Harvesting all those food that you grow? Wow. This video just motivate me even more.

Thats a good question. Before I started gardening I always knew that this was a possibility also with the carrot 🥕 greens. Unfortunately I tried them both and didn't like them AT ALL. So now I just remove them and give them to the chickens.

How do you pay for your home n utilities etc if you quit working? Savings? Or a partner who pays for that?

We cut back on a lot of wants and only deal with our needs. I also work for myself ( I have my own Etsy store ) and my hubby still works in the corporate world but he has worked to achieve that he only works from home. So we are just living as relaxed and as simple as we can. Enjoying all our minutes of everyday. Basically we had to make a lot of choices. Something people find very hard to do because we are so accustomed to all the frills in life.
