As a Black woman when I tell you this was my experience, but in a medical office. I scheduled GYN surgery,, patient base mostly elderly white women. The level of disrespect and microaggression i faced on a daily bases. From those patients (something about elderly white women) and even doctors What made it worse was no one acknowledged or stood up for me. Not the doctors, nurses, office mgr or other co-workers. of course I was the only POC. The best decision I made was to give notice and leave. They begged me to stay. One of the doctors even contacted me a couple of years later when she opened her own practice. She wanted to hire me (the nerve to hunt me down). I of course said no

I was ecstatic to see your video & very sad to hear the horrible, continual experience at work! It's sickening that in America, there ARE people who STILL are racist & NOTHING but excuses is made for them. I DON'T care who don't like me, just stay out my face with it, but being that it was your employer, management, it would be impossible to avoid them! I'm glad you left so enjoy your life & NOW, upload on a weekly basis!❤️

“The lack of common sense as human beings…” GIRL! When I tell you that was the first thing that slapped the shit out of me when I entered adulthood. I was like… “wtf Is this!?!? Ohh Nahhhh I don’t belong here. Y’all wild 😂” Seriously… we need to change that expression bc common sense isn’t common AT ALL. I honestly wonder how tf the human race has survived this long… But I’m truly happy you’re doing better now that you have your new bright home and no more of that toxic job!! And of course, you will always have your husband that loves you and has your back! You’re doing great 💖 Don’t worry about it, you have so many more amazing things coming next 😊

Sorry for long reply, thought it necessary to share. Staying in toxic workplace will make you sick. You have to remove yourself for your own health. What a blessing that you have that choice. It sad that we're still experiencing this. I remember my experience at a corporate job many years ago (late 90s). I would get pit in my stomach and feel a heavy weight on me as train approached stop for work. Before I left, I was crying in bathroom and rallying support from my "village". Had to run from that place. I remember a Director sharing in convo that I was intimidating. I was like the smilingest (my word), naive, most approachable person- just tall and a Black person. I remember being uncomfortable in that convo & thinking, why are you telling me this, you are in higher position than me. That was really his issue and looking back, it's probably why I wasn't promoted. There were microaggressions dished out by employees in that department and in the larger corporation. What made me eventually leave was when a blond girl was hired (she was nice but knew her power & used it to get ahead) and my supervisor (he was enamored with her though not the same one who shared he was intimidated by me) asked me to train her to bring her up to speed. I didn’t want to. They eventually gave her the next level position that I also went for. She got it though I was more qualified! I got mad and complained to department head and to HR. They made it hard for me to stay so I left for my sanity. There were good people but the ones who were low key racists made their presence felt during encounters and convos that left you thinking, "You have the nerve to say that?" It was like they did nothing and you should just smile. I went to a dot com, got tired of corporate life, left got Masters degree now I'm a high school counselor. When things get rough and they are, at least I'm in my calling which is helping teens. Congrats on finding something you love to do that can pay the bills. Keep on being you. So glad you have support of your family and Dejan. Wishing you both all the best. Stay safe.❤

That was very disrespectful and immature and you have SOOOOO MUCH PATIENCE. I would have walked out. lol 11:16 WTAF????!!!!!! Even if his ass was thinking that, wtf... why would he say that shit??? WOW. I would have banned him from coming to that restaurant. Maybe that's too far but fk outta here with that racist shit. Wasn't his daughter there with him? That's what he is teaching her? 17:53 what the hell kind of hellscape did you work at?? I would be like, "b**** if you don't have waiters you don't have guests" Wow I'm so glad you're not working there anymore. People should work where their mind is right. As a matter of fact working at these places that mistreat their employees seems to just justify the management to continue acting like that. Good on you that you left

I say tox you say sick. Tox sick!! Tox sick!! LITERALLY I can totally relate I hated my job so much I started getting stomach ulcers and bubble guts. I was disgusted by the people and their conduct to the point were I was subconsciously hoping for student strikes to take place in my town ( the only thing) that the bosses would let us stay at home cause there were so dangerous and people sometimes lost their lives . So with that I had to leave I could not let that place turn me into a heartless monster. I also had a don't f with me demeanour and I looked away over alot of things just to survive that warfare

I just quit my job after 2 and a half years for this same exact reason. I love the actual job I do, but I’m sorry working with all women has been very stressful. It has peaked my anxiety really bad . I have gone to the manager but she is also toxic and has lied on me several times about me contacting her letting her know when I’m leaving early or calling out. you go to the upper level people and nothing is done just a conversation is had with her, no reprimands for her lying on you. Then, because I stayed to myself because of all the drama and just say good morning and good night, two girls at my job do not like me and constantly has something to say about me behind my back so today was enough I decided to walk away. am I scared? yes!but I know God has my back, and I am ready to walk in the next chapter of peace.

wow!!! just found the two of you last night (tuesday 11 april 2023) you are just amazing. i have asperger's (mild) and perky people are usually not my thing but something was happening with you and i just kept watching your videos. and then i found this one and the light went on. in your videos you kept repeating how people wanted more of dan (we know why) and you were so chill with it like you want more of him well here he is and that just fascinated me. this is her channel but they want more of him and she is unfazed by it. but when i got to this video, the light came on and i knew why i had not stopped watching. the fact that your daughter has you as her mother is just mind blowing to me. how fortunate is she? your self awareness. your ability to look at yourself and see what there is you like and what there is you do not like and are willing to fix it is beyond your years. just hearing you pour your soul out on camera is remarkable. and with such ease and comfort, it is like you know what you are doing even if you do not know. you are truly a gift. so glad i found your channel. i have no social media presence but i do have 5 youtube videos on my asperger's. oz: me and my asperger's. bad sound and lighting but is is what it is. keep being the amazing person you are and so joyfully sharing you life with us. much thanks to you.

I’ve noticed in your past videos that you said you have anxiety and overthinking problems, and this is coming from a good place, I’ll like to give you a remedy which is prayer, I don’t know if you’re a Christian or not but take some time from your day, pray about your worries, your fears, anxiety and everything you feel, pray about it and ask God to give you peace. Once again, this is coming from a good place and I really hope you overcome your fears, and while you’re at that, you can pray about everything else in your life, pray it in Jesus’s name

Hey beautiful Queen!!! So, this guest yelled at you on the assumption that you have a problem with him, yet he yelled at you in front of guest without asking to speak to the manager. And, he was there two weeks prior and experience the same thing (again, never asked to speak to the manger) and when you told him that you were in Europe that it was another server, he never stopped venting and kept trying to embarrass you in front of people. WOW! That says a lot about him. When people have a problem with someones color it doesn't matter who they replace the person with because you and her are both women of color, and to make it appear as if her skin is more acceptable then yours because it's lighter is bull. Sounds like this man was trying to use reverse phycology on you. I see a confident beautiful black woman and some people are bothered by , so begins the plot to take away your shine. Appreciate the person that GOD made you to be. Don't waste your energy trying to figure them out why some people want to attack you because of jealousy. They can take it up with GOD if they have a problem. Heck, you can't help it that GOD showed out when he created your canvas! Girl, just say- Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!

I just got certified as a medical assistant, was so excited, then I remembered how cruel was my previous job experience working at the hospital. Even though I love to take care of people, I am sadly considering starting a business instead of working at the hospital. I am pursuing a career in nursing, might have to move to an other country to enjoy working as a nurse which is my dream job.

I’m sorry if you feel like I’m attacking you but I’m not , I like you and wish you could be more positive because some of us actually most ... don’t have what you have, we are struggling like really struggling.

Hey! I understand if you don't identify with my content and you feel as if its been negative. That definitely isn't my intention. While I don't enjoy having anxiety or any other mental illnesses, I don't believe in acting like I'm okay when I'm not. I believe if I share some of my struggles people would feel less isolated or they could somehow find a way to cope with it. I don't feel attacked at all love! if anything these last couple of months with all the changes I've been through, I have also realized that I focus on certain negative things in my life , and it's something I'm working on. I'm not perfect and I'm learning new ways of being and thinking that isn't harmful. I am aware that I have more than most and I am so very grateful. Especially after the last couple of years with Rona. There is a lot that I have been through that I personally don't share and other constant struggles that make things tough for me. Again, I'm sorry for having been negative to the point where you are affected. That again is never my intention. I appreciate you taking the time to write this and letting me know .

These videos are HER diary, these are HER experiences. These are things PEOPLE relate to. You dont get to say "some people have it worse so stop complaining". This isnt an oppression competition. Learn to listen to people and acknowledge their struggles without minimizing what they are going through. Her struggles are just as relevant as mine and yours and she has every right to share them. It will make you a better person if you learn to listen to others instead of trying to size up what is more severe or more important and if it really bothers you then you don't have to watch

I feel you.. I had a job where old white men specifically,🤌🏽 said inappropriate, jaw dropping things to me. It was very upsetting because it happened alllllll the time to the point where I was like, this is not a coincidence, this shit is privilege. My white co-worker NEVER had those type of things said to her. Even she would be like, man these white dudes really love you! That was not love, that was some 1900’s BS, feeling like you can say whatever you want to me and I’d better be a good ole gal and mind my tongue. I brought it up to management and asked how would they like me to handle it, because if one more man stood WAY to close to me with their eyes penetrating my retina’s, talking crazy, it would be a problem! They blew it off of course and sho nuff, here come old Wilbur talking crazy. I checked him as professionally as I could and he reported me to management (of course he was the innocent victim🙄) which they took his side in my face as I stood there🤷🏽‍♀️ My co worker (my hero) who was a black man knew what I was experiencing, looked at me and said “I guess this my last day.” I was confused at first, but he stepped in and WENT TF OFF! He told old Wilbur off, he told management off and let them know that he was quitting because he would no longer be a bystander to the blatant disrespect to POC who were their employees. He kissed my cheek, took off his work badge and left without looking back 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I took mines off and followed behind him. To have that black man stand up for me and quit his job was very emotional and gave me hope at the same time. Stay away from these toxic workplaces. They will always cater to their own so sometimes you have to keep it moving and cater to yourself✌🏽 💪🏽

you’re brilliant you don’t need to serve these jerks-morons; all they know is hate and braking Their fellow human beings sprite! They don’t deserve you; however, you’re a promising young lady if your situation permits, I challenge you to go to law school-so you can defend others; a little sacrifice will pay life time; Don’t let those hateful and deranged individuals have succeed.
