The batch is about to be promoted to Grade B, so please check the compensation for Grade B NPS Trust recruitment. Something around that. Wage revision for each regulator happens separately and depends on the regulator's Board. However, PFRDA links these things to SEBI.

Yes spouse is working so financial support is there. Of course family etc were against initially and that's normal. But if you are confident, sure, and ready to take calculated risks then they'll support you ultimately.

Unorganized sector and corporate sector subscribers would still be there so NPST/PFRDA would still be needed. Even old pension might still be regulated by the same bodies. Who knows..

Hey Vaibhav, Congrats for ISB. Why didn't you purse Civil Services along with PFRDA ? Was it you exhausted your attempts or were you age out? Is it possible to prepare for Civils after we get into any regulator? Are your HOD's supportive in helping you prepare?

You can definitely prepare. One gets a decent amount of time. I got a little disenchanted by civil services in the process especially after seeing some of my friends being stuck in that vicious circle for years and not making it.

Thanks. You'll have to get a great CAT/GMAT score to compensate for your prior acads. Work ex is on the lower side and you would need to also improve the quality of your work ex. Extra curricular section also you should build if you can.

Admissions - Yes. Since not many Govt/public servants apply to B schools, it's a differentiating factor but you've got to showcase your work properly to convert. Placements - Can't comment yet. Ask me post January 2022 :)

If this comment is became you thought that I went for an executive mba then I'd like to clarify that isb pgp & iim A pgpx are full time 1 year programs for people with a min. Work ex. Executive mba is a part time mba & is worth only if you want to gain structured knowledge, if your employer provides some benefit or if you are a master networker.
