My daughter just spent a year working in Maine. I absolutely loved to visit her for all the reasons you mentioned. Beautiful, nice people, nice craft and art, relaxed life style, mostly safe. I would definitely consider living there.

How’s the art scene? I’m moving to New England next year. I’ve been considering Portland over Manchester. Boston is a bit too big for my taste. I wouldn’t mind driving an hour and half way to Boston here and there.

Really enjoyed the video. You're a great ambassador for the state of Maine. Don't forget us in the Sebago lakes region. We're right on the way to the White Mountains from Portland. The center of Bridgton is walking distance to 2 lakes and 2 supermarkets! I think you should do a video on Bridgton. Ok shameless plug here.
