Nick I am glad you like living in Sarawak. I was born in Sarawak but have been residing in the USA for 30 years. I missed Sarawak during the Chinese New Year very much and also in the Winter time because I don’t like being cold. I missed all kinds of fresh fruits like durian, rambutan, papaya, star fruit, mangosteen, jack fruit…. fresh fish, hometown foods like laksa, Kumpua Mee, nasi Lemak….. Congrats on being a new dad. How is your wife Magdalene? Is she Chinese-Malaysian? Thanks for sharing your stories living in Sarawak to the universe. Keep up your video work.

Hey there! Once in every couple of years we have a wave of haze here in Sarawak. The past three years we didn't have any (or at least not much) haze. A few years ago it was quite bad, but it would usually only last for a week or two.

Hey Mike! Thanks for watching the video! The numbers look scary regarding rainfall, but it's nothing to worry about. There isn't much difference between monsoon and dry season. It can rain a bit more at night or in the morning during monsoon, that's about it. Even during dry season you can expect some crazy rains. Usually rain-moments only last about 30-45 minutes.

Things are pretty relaxed here in Sarawak and Malaysia in general. There are still various rules in place, but we're rather free to do whatever we want to do. No more lockdown! 😁

i think you felt in love with Sarawak and not with Malaysia.. the Peninsula Malaysian especially the Malay's are not so tolerance as those living Sarawak.. you should really say i felt in love with Sarawak.. Sabah is in the same categories..
