Animation is my personal favorite medium for entertainment and storytelling (Next to Video Games). What i love about it is that you can really do anything. It's just this open medium where anything you can think of and anything you can create, you can make. Anything that you could do in live-action, you can also do it with animation and make it better. I think that animation will always allow for more expressive and more creative stories :)

This is why I struggle to agree with Scorsese’s remarks on animation and cinema. I do believe that it does make sense in a way to classify it as its own art but I wouldn’t say that it doesn’t convey the feelings a great movie does like Scorsese says. Remarkable poem by the way
