I am not big being in tuna towners when it is rough. A 26 foot regulator would plow into a 6-8 foot wave and about catapult me out of the tower. I want me 2 feet on a flat deck on the ground.

Love your content! Being from Minnesota this might be a dumb question for you guys, I apologize if it is. Have you ever run your Freeman at full throttle from your tower when it's not flat? I assume its dangerous...but looks like it would be fun as hell.

Thanks for watching. It is a little sketchy running full speed in the tower, so when we open it up usually I’m down stairs where I have a little more control and stability

Just before throwing the cast net, are you guys tossing an oatmeal/chum mix into the water?

They throw sand to cloud up the water so the Balleyhoo can’t see the net being thrown.

Nick, Do you have an enclosure to enclose the cockpit for your customers during wet weather? For the money for a 42' Freeman and the cost of your charters (which I have no problem with) it would be nice to make your clients comfortable during wet weather.
@StanzFam2 жыл бұрын
We have side wings to put up which help when running, but it’s not a complete enclosure by any means

If you pull the tag aren’t you supposed to retag it? I’m not sure that’s why I’m asking.
@StanzFam2 жыл бұрын
You can but don’t have to. Ideally I would have just been able to read the numbers and leave it in, but didn’t want to risk the fish dying from us grabbing it out of the water too long to write down the tag number
