Congrats on your upcoming graduation! And thanks for watching the video. We have a playlist here on the channel with some extra videos on marketing/promoting your services. We'll have more coming soon! In your last year at audio school, I'd recommend focusing on putting together a portfolio (even if it's just 2-3 tunes). Where are you based David? What school are you attending?

Dude I totally get you. I'm new to pop and just requested to join the group after trying to reference some top 40 stuff and make some tracks. The effects are super complex to me. Im better at listening to chord progressions and melodies because I know theory. Great video.

Thanks for watching Oh Gee! Effects can get a little crazy, but can all be learned over time.

Hey man, your story is really inspiring. I am making hip-hop/trap beats. My plate is full as well, I am in the Navy and am currently deployed. But I am still workin on making beats. I do want to move into actually producing but it is hard trying to juggle everything. But it is do able as you have shown that you was even in college and doing music. Thanks for the motivation.

This was very informative and very encouraging. I watch a lot of different channels that talk about music production and the business. I don’t think I’ve watched a video yet that broke down the path from beginning to current of how someone went full time WITH great application points for us. Thanks for the video! Also FYI - link for the document doesn’t work.

@MakePopMusic7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Just to clarify... do you mean how an artist can find a manager and producer? Or do you mean how a producer can find a manger?
@nextl3v3l997 жыл бұрын
Make Pop Music my apologies, I meant how an Artist can find managers and producers to work with and how much that costs and how that works how to contact them etc etc.

It'd be great if you could do a video with a bit more info about the transition to full time and quadrupling your income. For instance, you mentioned having all of this time to promote yourself - but where?
@austinhullmusic7 жыл бұрын
We definitely will be! As I said in the video, this is more of a story-time where I just discussed how I went full time and when I did. As far as actual tips, methods, marketing, etc, that is future content that we will be making. We have a video line up for within the next week that is 3 tips to getting more clients online and we will be doing some other segments for stuff like that!
