I've been using Naturium's azelaic and tranexamic acid products for some time. I don't have hyperpigmentation on my face but have rosacea. My chin used to be like Rudolph's nose and both it and my cheeks are no longer red. They are the first products I've ever used that have worked for my rosacea. I'm impressed with these acids! I always forget about using AHAs so this video is s great reminder to include them. I hope you are enjoying your haircut - your hair looks great again!

There’s also a peach and lily lactic acid serum I’ve heard good things about and am considering next time I need something in this category! Esp since they are often on good deals at Ulta. But everything Liv Botanical does is magical, sometimes I’m like “why do I even look at other brands” 😂

I haven't tried that one from P+L, but I agree, I think I would be more inclined to get the one from Live Botanical 😉🪴

Oh, wow, I didn't realize that the Alpyn Beauty serum contains lactic acid. I have that product but haven't used it yet. I need to move it up in my rotation. Have you noticed any changes in your skin while using it? I plan to try the Paula's Choice mandelic and lactic acid toner in a mini size that's packaged together with a mini of their salicylic acid toner, which is a mainstay for me, but the one I purchased recently had a different texture and doesn't seem as effective as the bottles I've used in the past, which is a real bummer. So I'm going to give it a try in the mini size to see if that was just a fluke before giving up on it. Thanks for the heads up about the smell of the mandelic/lactic acid toner. Like you, I really love the scent of the Lilfox Dewy Bean Dream. I want to get it again as soon as I cycle through some of my other products. I have a Peach & Lily lactic acid serum, among others, to get through first. The Eadem toner has been on my list (do you use it with the Alpyn serum?), and now maybe the Shani Darden serum also. I saw that Halle Berry has been using the Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum every day since forever so that's on my list, too. Do you have any interest in the Mara Flower Acid Algae Serum (8% vegan lactic acid) or the new one by Honua, their Liliko'i Flash Facial Treatment?

I was pleasantly surprised to see lactic acid in the Alpyn Beauty serum as well! As far as noticing any changes in my skin I would say no, which is a good thing. I haven't noticed my skin health moving backwards! I use and love so much great skincare that at this point I when I introduce something new I want it to live up to what I am currently using and the Alpyn Beauty does so far. If something doesn't, it will fall out of my rotation, so we will see, but so far so good! I haven't used the Eadem toner and the Alpyn together because I use the Eadem at night and the Alpyn during the day. And thank you so much for drawing my attention to both of those products from Mara and Honua! I was not aware of either of them but they both sound lovely, especially the Mara Serum, that is definitely going on my wishlist!!

I look forward to your review if you try the Mara serum. And also to your review of the reformulated Live Botanical serum. The ingredients look very good. I have used their First Light Brightening Oil years ago and the Ambient Moisture Liquid more recently. Right now, I'm using an exfoliating oil from French Farmacie. It doesn't contain lactic acid but I adore the aroma.
