Oh and yeah regarding the gas light - when it starts flashing you have 20-30 miles left. The top display automatically changes to a new mile counter showing how many miles you’ve driven with the light flashing. It automatically changes back to whatever you had selected before (I display coolant temp) after you fill up. So yeah you don’t even have to fill up until the gas light starts flashing - just make sure you’re within 20-30 miles of a gas station
@yamayari83512 жыл бұрын
Solid advice! 🙏 makes sense now because it was counting up. Thank you 🙏
@bthemaster78302 жыл бұрын
This is one of the only flaws on the bike. Half of the tank-bar gone in a second, counting up when the light starts flashing. So stupid. Just display the expected mileage for gods sake. I always use the counter which measures how much fuel the bike has used. I takes 14 liters (EU:)), and you can see how much gas is left in the tank. Just reset when you filled it up, and you can indicate how far you can go.

I put on a MRA Racing Screen, not cheap but gets the wind off your lower/mid chest and unlike other taller screens like the Puig and Yamaha Touring screen (Chinese knock off version) I tried it doesn't flex around at high wind speed. Wind is just something we have to live with, naked bike and upright seating position. I wish there was a nice big bubble classic cafe racer screen available (think 70's Ducati 900SS) that looked cool and addressed the wind.
@yamayari83512 жыл бұрын
Very nice! I appreciate the feed back. 70’s style would be amazing! But would be nice with a bracket so you could put on and remove instantly so if you didn’t want to use it. You could remove it. That may be cool too :)

Nice video! I have a mt09 2022 sp. Do you experience a lot of engine brake when closing the throttle? Like nose dive kind of engine brake. I have min flashed an it somehow helped. Also i did the recall for the ecu from yamaha. Thats my only issue. But if thats how the bike is im okay with it. Plus the on and off the throttle seems too on off if you know what i mean. What is does is that it starts counting from the moment your bike started using the reserve. My VMX17 does the same. So if your bike has an 2.8 ltr reserve (which the 2021 does) and you’re bike uses 1 ltr for every 20 km’s you should be able to ride another 56km’s (i.e. 43.8 miles)

Haha don't. judge every road in America by what is just in the great state of Florida! The southeastern US along the Appalachian Mountains has some of the best riding in the world!
