excellent explanation. I ask you a question because I can't understand. Can you use an Ethernet cable to give it an internet signal to transmit? Because I have the StarLink antenna to generate internet outdoors but I don't know if this equipment works with internet via network cable. Thank you! Your comment will help me a lot to know if I buy the web presenter 4k

Yes, you connect an ethernet cable in the back and you stream from the Web Presenter 4K.

I am late to seeing this video but maybe some here can help. I have a ATEM Extreme ISO. Can I use the web presenter4K alongside the Extreme? Meaning, take the USB C out of the Extreme to the input of the web presenter, then out to the computer so you cna upscale the 1080P out of the extreme to 4K for steaming to youtube? Thnaks in advance

For the type c to work, you need a high data type c cable not any type c will work

I use a m1 air and I’ve tried 4K capture cards etc. is this my best option to get 4K video into obs that’s smooth?

That's a great question, I'm not sure I can give you a great answer. While it may not be the "best option" I think that the Web Presenter 4K would do the heavy lifting I guess and provide you with a clean 4K signal over USB. They claim it works well with Skype, Zoom, etc so I guess it should play well even with an M1 Air. Worked fine for me on a standard M1 Mac Mini.

Yes you can! And via USB you can also get a 4K video capture.

I actually record onto a Hyperdeck HD Mini and send the SDI output from that to the Web Presenter. But then I only record a HD signal. But using a PC/Mac you could record a 4K version 👍

Regarding Hardware Encoder,, Web Presenter has an own encoder, I hope encoded video in on Webcam output.

Hi. I noticed you are using an Atem Mini Extreme also. Are you having cache issue with the atem and decided to use the web preneter.? If so does the web presenter have cache issue as well?

Cache issue is normally internet connection related so yes it would also happen to the Web Presenter. If your ATEM can’t connect to the server you’re streaming to it’ll start to cache

That is not a kettle plug connector. Kettle plug is IEC C15 and has a cutout in the plug socket is C16 and is designed for high temperature use only. That is standard IEC mains connector C14 for C13 plug.

I don't have that LiveU unit to confirm but I believe that the SDI loop out is the same as the input source, so that wouldn't work... I think it only upscales to the Stream and also the USB-C out.

Is anybody facing problems with cache memory oh BMWP HD? There are few posts on BM Forum for similar problem from few users but i see there are no problems for other users. Can you do a video help us find out, what we doing wrong? I try several cameras with BM HDMI to SDI 3G converter. I can see the camera normaly, with sound. But the cache of BMWP is goinf after 1 min to 100% and stay there, no matter the internet speed. Any idea?

It’ll cache when it cannot send out the data to the server. I’d do the following steps: - Check the internet connection works - Try different cables, try different ports on your router - Check that the Web Presenter is getting an IP within your network. - Check the stream key and service is correct in the settings - You could try a phone via USB and see if that connection works too Hope one of these fixes your problem :) One time I had my router suddenly shut down a port because it was using too much data, I then plugged it straight into the modem and then it worked no problem. Later I put it back in the same port as before and I’ve had no problems since, so sometimes strange things happen

@@AnotherCameraChannel thanks for the quick replay. When using ethernet everything is ok. Even my cable connection is bad. My problem is when doing usb tethering with my mobile. I need to do remote streaming. I am using Type-C to Type-C cable. However i am not sure if the cable must be data or charging. Data i guess but how i can ensure that i have a correct one. I hope the problem is the cable otherwise i have to mess with my GSM ISP provides for possible problems with ip addresses etc.

Just one. But you could also stream to Restream.io for that to do that for you. If you have more than one you can have each one stream to another destination.

Can you confirm that you can stream to a custom RTMP link (like Restream or whatever)? My hold up is that everything online I'm seeing is that you can only stream to KZbin, Twitter, Twitch, or Facebook. @@AnotherCameraChannel

@@AnotherCameraChannel Any attempt at streaming directly form the Web Presenter 4k fails, with "On Air" blinking forever and the Ethernet icon showing "Full". The cache also slowly rises to 100% and holds. The settings are correct and device is updated, and it works as a web cam through OBS.

It’s most likely an internet problem then. I’d try plugging it into different ethernet ports as direct as possible to the outside internet connection. Try different cables. Does it get an IP on your network? Check if you can that it appears. Double check the settings again that the service and streamkey are correct. Try different services. You could also try a usb to phone connection and try streaming via mobile tethering. If it still doesn’t work then you may have to contact your retailer for support/replacement.

I could use it to stream from, but using the Web Presenter 4K gives me more options like 4K streaming and also an interface so we can see the health of the stream and the cache and see if there are any problems. And if the ATEM has a problem, the stream is still working. So I can restart it and hopefully fix any problem. 👍

Why would you want to stream a 1080 signal in 4k and Majority watches on phones and screens smaller then 17” 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Because 1080p upscaled to 4K has more quality on KZbin than just a 1080p stream. There is a big difference :) and if the client wants to download it again later, that helps 👍

KZbin has an encoder that reduce te quality of the streaming video. So with 4k upscaling a 1080p video looks better.

Limited functionality of single platform output combined with no cables whatsoever and a very poor value for price profile makes this a s**t product that competotors are beating BMD in the RTMP marketplace. Stopped watching very early on when you revealed no power cord because I already knew the price as I had BMD's 4K web presenter web page open as looked for You Tube reviews.

Actually, it’s really good. Been using one for about a year and it’s been rock solid and looks great.
