It's also way better for exposure. Liquid's cast is good, but a lot of NA/Liquid viewers are eaten up by Max's stream, whereas the official Echo broadcast has way more eyeballs on it than any of the individual players.

I agree that’s it’s not a love one team hate the other mentality. I might be a bigger fan of Liquid than Echo but that’s because my environment I like to play in is more in line with how Liquid goods around a bit more than Echo. I’m still a fan of Echo and have massive respect for them, even if I’m rooting for Liquid to win. I would love to see another team or 2 jump up into the actual race to world first and have some insane competition between multiple teams.

The two guilds have openly admitted to not liking each other very much, and prefers to avoid talking to each other when possible (they do respect each other, though). Fans also act like toxic drunk sports team fans. Nothing friendly about it, but sure, it's entertaining

The great thing about being a freelance caster is you can cast for who you want. Being based out of Germany and having to fly to Cali for a few days to cast is hell on the body. While it would be cool to see you cast for the team I like, it's just good to see good casters casting no matter who they cast for.

I've always been an Echo fan and was so happy to see you on their caster list this time round! As a fan I find Echo's stream more entertaining (for me, personal opinion of course) and rarely watch more than a few minutes of Liquid's at a time so it's been great to see you over on the other side.

Hey Naguura I really enjoyed seeing you on the RWF on Echo stream. Being based in the EU I tend to spend most time watching the EU streams and found myself drawn most to Echo's this time around. Your content as a group was fabulous and I really enjoyed the mix of technical/game focus alongside the banter, I thought your balance was really great and I learned a lot from watching your casts. It is healthy for the scene for organisations to compete over talent and Nagurra. Like it has been said, it's just awesome that there are opportunities on two continents to do this. Even 5 years ago this was a dream. One thing I always noted was the respect Max and the other had for a real OG in Naguura. Really awesome to see, and I think it bodes well for the future too. Liquid as a brand made sense, but being in EU and Echo seems like the most natural fit. One day when it is global release they will have to ship you out to the middle of the Atlantic so both NA and EU can share your talents!

It's a great race with two great teams! But there are few who point out, Echo's casting stream spins up to 50 thousand wievers while Max stream takes up most of the Liquid casting stream. So it's just a much bigger platform with more eyes on you as a caster. Don't forget Swedish meatballs with mash now that you're in Sweden! And keep up the great job.

The biggest winners of the last RWF? The playerbase. The fact that this went out to 150k+ viewers at some point on Twitch made it very relevant again. Also very glad that Liquid and Echo burried the hatchet.

I felt like you casting for Echo this tier dramatically shifted the viewing experience in their favour. Echos was a bit better than before and to be honest, Liquids was quite a bit worse than from what i remembered watching Vault. I have enjoyed the girlpower buffonery whenever you shared a segment with Meeix and Eiya, so will miss that.

You don't need a 9 minute video to say that you just didn't want to travel stateside. Like a few have mentioned most of the viewers are in maximums stream anyway and not the actual broadcast. Lot of the reason is b/c the casters stop calling the pulls and go off on random subjects like yogurt and socks. But what I really like is both echo and liquid cast streams run the maximum amount of ads per hour that twitch will allow, it's when they run their own ads and they are interrupted with twitch ads is what takes the cake.

I like the Echo casters so much more than I do the Liquid casters. Aside from Meeix and Jak, they are really strange and like to kind of mumble. It seems like they are trying to demonstrate how "cool" they are instead of pumped about casting for RWF. And that is not a vibe I am into. As you said, the sportsmanship on the teams toward one another is great. I love that. But the casting teams...Echo wins.

Agreed, liquid’s casters are not necessarily bad (i am big fan of jak for instance), but i feel like they are not as interesting as echo’s. Preach and Fatboss together are a fiery combo, steakloins and dratnos have such a good synergy, naguura and jeath are really interesting and insightful, and so on and so on.

Gonna give another perspective that isn't just aching of positivity and roses like the rest of the comments. It is kind of weird that you are, regardless of the explanation for it. The attitude that some people are trying to cultivate around the race is insanely weird sometimes. It's absolutely fine to be a huge fan of one team. It's absolutely fine to dislike the other team. Sports doesn't have to be a "we are all holding hands lalalala" type of situation, as long as you still treat the other teams right, I see no issue with only wanting something to do with one team. It's getting a bit weird that people aren't allowed to be 100% into one team anymore. This is more of a general observation, but i've just seen so many times where if you say go liquid, down with echo you are just completely murdered. This isn't even a bad thing to say, it's just rooting for your team
