This is such a great video to show your beliefs and such, I've never really found someone else who's non-denominational, and who so closely agrees with me. For me I find it best to do reading in the Bible Individually to find your answers, then base your decisions and choices on it.

if it's it's to big for any human than who will answer it?
@jollybrown48472 ай бұрын
@JaimeFromHuruleVGM, that's actually a really good place to be. And you are totally right, this isn't a question that humans should answer, because it is too big for us to fully understand. What myself, and many other Christians believe is that it is God - the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is on the earth - who, in his love and grace, has revealed and showed some of what the answer is to us. We don't believe that we have the answer but that God has told us and given us and blessed us with the as much of the answer as we need to know: that we are made by God, that we all fall short of being worthy enough to know Him, that he loved us so much that he sacrificed his own Son's life to redeem us and pay the ransom cost for us to escape not only the eternal punishment of hell but also give us true fulfilled life while we are here, and that salvation is a free gift we can have by accepting Jesus as our Christ saviour, and our Lord and king. This fact, of us not being the ones to figure out the answer, or come up with what *we* think, is all throughout the bible, but potentially the clearest of which is in (Mark and Luke as well but with most detail-) in Matthew 16:13-20. Jesus asks the disciples who the people of the world say that he is, and they list of a few theories that the people seem to have, a few old testament prophets, John the baptist with his head back on, and for sure there would be more than the few examples they gave. But then Jesus asks them who they think Jesus is and Simon (also called Peter) responds on behalf of the group by saying “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God” And then Jesus doesn't say anything like 'yep l, well done for figuring it out.' or 'it took you long enough' Instead he says that it isn't his own cleverness or his IQ, or all his academic and religious studies that has allowed him to know this (his 'flesh and blood') But Jesus says that it is actually His Father in heaven, who has revealed it to the disciples.

I think it’s always wild what “belief” is. I am perfectly fine with there being a creator but the absolute ego of some people to claim to know that it’s “this god” etc… wild. U don’t. How can someone be so full of himself to claim that he has a connection with god, knows who he is etc. Wild.
@Deyellowboy082 ай бұрын
i mean it's only a "belief" because someone else "believes" something else. I mean wouldn't it be weird if an apheist said "He knows God exists" also I "know" it's "this" God because I have heard and seen the proof and facts. (edit) shoot any questions you have and I will answer the best I can

@@Deyellowboy08 hey, thanks man :) I value truth and and like to believe as many true things as possible, and as few false things as possible. So for whatever beliefs I hold, I like to understand what I could learn or find out to change my confidence about that. If there is nothing I can learn or find out to lower my confidence about a belief, that belief seems to be at risk of being untrue… like… I’m at risk believing something that might be untrue. So, i need my beliefs to be able to be shown false. They need that kinda quality. It doesn’t mean that there are not true, but they need to be able to be shown that they could be not true. To have confidence … like … for them to have any value. Beliefs that can’t be shown to be false could be any beliefs I’m wondering, how could we know if this belief was false?

@@Deyellowboy08 again…I’m wondering, how could we know if this belief was false? In my humble opinion… There is no way to know. It makes it not valuable for me… and the “benefits” I get from it… I would like to belief in it, if it’s true. I’m wondering, how could we know if this belief was false?
@Deyellowboy082 ай бұрын
@@wolfen8622 well in order to know whether or not something is false is to ask what is the proof, and if there is proof that says otherwise you have to ask people questions and keep asking questions until you run out then ask yourself if it’s true or false based on the answers

How do you think your beliefs stack up with what is known as the "Church of Christ" and how do you think your vision for how the church should operate moving forward compares to the way Churches of Christ operate? As a member of a Church of Christ, I would say about every belief/method of organization mentioned in this video is shared with the Church of Christ, excepting predestination. Keep in mind that the Church of Christ is a congregational church, meaning each congregation interprets the bible and consequently their beliefs how they see fit. While I find that, after visiting somewhere in the number of 100 or more congregations over the years in the continental United States, most every congregation holds virtually the same beliefs, there are some that vary widely and, in my opinion, should not bear the name of "Church of Christ" as their beliefs are more in line with other denominations. Hopefully these questions are specific enough to invite a proper answer/investigation into the Church of Christ on your part.
