Hi Skyler my mom is 83 years old and one thing that really brings her pleasure that she loves to do are puzzles like crossword puzzles word search puzzles so I got her a boatload of puzzle books. I also got her a Target gift card because she loves to go there and buy books to read. In my area they have the best prices for books

I think gift cards are always appropriate, especially when it is for a specific store or brand that you kind thru like and will enjoy. how about finiding a cute stocking (AT HOME has nice ones usually), fillling it with decorative US mail stamps, a few scratch off lottery tickets, some favorite candies, a new book, some nice soap or shower steamers, etc. you can find one nicer gift to hide in the toe or send her on a scavenger hunt with the first clue in the stocking.

Idea for your mom: I like to give theme baskets. How about a picture of the kids,and then think about things she likes, like, for example,tea and mug,magazine,candle,favorite hand lotion,fuzzy warm slippers,cozy throw for the couch etc. Just a thought❤

Hi Skyler, I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 9 minutes and 36 second video of you shopping at Costco for a few items. Skyler I am like you, sometimes I will go into a supermarket to buy a few items and come out with one or two more items that I did not intend on buying but will eventually use. Skyler I do not really like getting a gift voucher as a present. Buying a gift card is not a good gift. I much prefer that person buying a gift for a loved one to think of what that person loves doing such as puzzles, reading, cooking; listening to music and so on you can get items in thoughs lines or with your mum a new bottle of her favourite perfume. Or even hand wash, body wash and lotion all in a set in the same smell. You could even make up a basket of bath products like bubble bath, bath crystals, a light bath oil and bath bombs. Or if she only takes showers a back and foot wash on a long handle and add a favourite liquid body wash that smells nice. Skyler that was so nice of you to help people out where you can. Buying diapers for charity was a very nice thing for you to do. Skyler if there were more people in the world like you helping other people out where they can this world would be a better place for us all to live in. You are such a kind, caring and very considerate and a wonderful human being to help out people in need. Skyler you have a great and very happy day.
