Great video ! I am a lawn care person and have only Ego equipment. Not pulling any string, no noise and lightweight. I am 61 so that maters. And fuel costs are rocked in The Netherlands, so it is also more economic.

The gas vs electric argument makes sense for auto/trucks to stay ICE. Power tools? that ship sailed 25-30 years ago in the construction industry when DeWalt came out with their good drills sawzalls etc. We have Ego's and love the convenience. I'm 63, still working and my wife is 71. She's so happy to have the electric trimmer, mower and blowers. I don't have to be home to start them if there's any issues.

As someone who has driven combustion vehicles my whole life and now owns electric vehicles as well I can say with confidence no, combustion automobiles are antiques as well.

Not being a smart ass, but you mentioned it has a switch for when it over heats, the guard is on for that exact reason to stop it from over heating, every machine is designed for different work, having the guard off can also shoot the the line trimmer cord off inflicting serious Injury if not carefull. I love you're video by the way explained everything well.

Do you have the commercial edger? I just got the commercial trimmer just for my residential cutting and it is amazing I really like it a lot, I really like the residential ego tools but the commercial are on another level. I just heard where you are talking about getting the edger wondering if you went through with it and wondering why you chose the straight shaft over the curved; looks to me like the curved is $100 cheaper at Acme tools and to me that seems like sort of a nice feature but I've never had a curved shaft one either.

I went for the lightest trimmer with low vibration Husqvarna They follow OSHA rules for so many vibrations over a certain period of time. It's all I've ever owned since

I have heard very bad reviews on the ego brand equipment. Plus the batteries are extremely expensive! The mower cuts pretty bad.

absolutely not my experience, I have been working with Ego tools for 3 years with great satisfaction. I am a lawn care person and have only Ego equipment. Not pulling any string, no noise and lightweight. I am 61 so that maters. And fuel costs are rocked in The Netherlands, so it is also more economic.
