Hey, at age 68 I pulled up roots, moved from my 6 acre 100 year old Iowa farmhouse, bought a small vacation home in Florida on a quarter acre. I'm planting a food forest on my empty lot, lush gardens and moss laden oaks whirl a magic spell on me...at 71 now eating figs n mangos n papaya n banana off my trees, my fern blanketed paradise nurtures me into adulthood as I slowly(sorta)embrace old age all by myself...life moves on, take it as it comes, do it all for the right reasons...for your family...haters gonna hate...be you...! Oh and congrats...!!!

Congratulations Jenna and Nabil! Part of the tiny house movement is not letting someone else dictate your goals and how you choose to live. I think some people forget that. Besides 460 square feet is still tiny. You make an excellent point about building your house to suit your lifestyle - and your original tiny wasn't built for the life you live now. I would love to keep seeing how other people have chosen to live tiny, and the changes you're making to your home. Thanks for all the great videos you've posted. I look forward to your future posts.

In a world where so many people are in debt over their heads from student loans and mortgages and credit cards debts it is so refreshing and even inspirational at how you managed your life so well. A tiny house was your answer to the question and it paid off. I am confident that you and your little family will succeed in whatever plans you make. You have an incredible maturity at 26 when you decided to build a tiny home to get your debts paid off. What a sense of responsibility and ingenuity for that age. It’s all there in your channel name: “Tiny House Giant Journey” - full steam ahead, no comma necessary, thank you very much! You are still working with and renovating a “tiny” house and (more importantly) living YOUR Giant Journey!! I’ve been following your story and your channel since early days and though it wasn’t necessary or anyone’s business but yours, thank you for filling in the blanks regarding your breakup. With that, we can all close that chapter of your old story and cheer you on in your new one! Of course, since you’re in the “public eye” there will be haters who are (say it with me!) “gonna hate”. May I suggest a composting toilet or an incinerette (sp.?!😱) in which to deposit such unsolicited opinions? I recently turned 60 and have been having some difficulties with life (I know - age aside, who hasn’t in 2020?!) I want you to know I find you and the people whose stories you document uplifting and inspiring. I’m very glad I found your KZbin channel back in the day. You’ve come a long way to get where you are now. Congratulations on finding a spouse with a sense of HUMOR (so important!) and on your imminent new family. A Christmas baby no less - beautiful! Keep those videos a-coming. The house reno would be seriously interesting (IMHO) but I’ll leave that to your discerning and keen editorial sense - it hasn’t disappointed me yet! Stay happy and healthy, Jenna! ✌️😎

Even if you don't live in your tiny full time anymore, you were able to do so much in it and still use it even now. You're still an advocate, and that's the very opposite of selling out. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with the new house! Congrats on the baby!! ❤️❤️

Thirdly, in answer to your question - what do we want to see? Well, personally I have loved seeing other people's Tinies, including the AirBnB ones, and would love to see more of those. Maybe now as you are becoming a parent yourself you could really hone in on Tinies with kids/teens and how they are adapted or special space saving tricks. So really, those Tinies that are multi-ocupancy, not just singles and couples. To be fair, I love looking at everyone's Tinies! Great job, Jenna. Please keep going!

I started watching your videos about 6 months ago and stumbled into this video just now (it is a cold sunday morning in the Netherlands) and it is a special video because it is about YOU this time! I really don't know if it is any use reacting after 3 years, but I will anyhow. You don't have to explain yourself not living in this tiny house anymore for hundreds of reasons, but one of them is you've contributed so much to the tiny home movement; to me you are the face of it. Nabil looks like a great guy and I hope the two of you are truly happy. Thanks for the inspiring content you've been posting over the years.

I agree with the sentiment of your statement, but some people are incredibly wasteful. She is not one of those people though.

I'd love to see updates on your new slightly larger tiny house! That's honestly closer to how we're trying to live, finding a small house in/near a city we love. But I also love the tiny house content too, I want it all, lol! Thanks so much for sharing your journey, and congratulations!!!

Love this so much! My family and I too planned to live in our tiny house for the rest of our life. Hubby retired, we had such fun plans with our adult special needs son, oh the things we planned to do. We had 4 years in our home, some of the best of our life. Sadly hubby is now physically disabled and we had to move into a small home to care for him. Life happens. Enjoy the ride, it can be much shorter than you planned.

Jenna as someone who knows about changing, I am so proud of you! Your growing up accomplishing your goals and taking on new responsibilities. I'm thankful for you and your channel and what I've learned from you. I was also 34 when I became pregnant with twins. I was married and life was good in a 2200 sq. Ft. House. Now I'm divorced, my twins are older and I'm sleeping on a friend's couch trying to figure out how to start my tiny home journey. I have you to thank for the wonderful information you've provided. I'm sure wherever your journey takes you next, people will follow because we watch not just for the tiny houses but for the person you are. Chin up, head high, smile and continue to be the most beautiful you, you can be!💛🌺💖

If anyone is negative, ignore them. You've done good and should be commended for all the support you give this lifestyle. Congratulations too! Families take more room, especially when infants are involved. Look forward to seeing what you do with a little more space. Nabeel's a lucky guy. Wish you both the best (just wish you lived in a safer part of the world!)

People shouldn't judge you, it's your life, also the more I see tiny houses the more I personally would find it getting old quick. Agree about the kids, people need privacy!

I never comment on anything or any platform, but I felt I really needed to say something. I hope you appreciate this comment, for it is sincerely with the best of intentions. All through out the video I had one strong thought "why is she feeling the need to justify herself" because I believe you don't owe it to anyone, you are beautiful and what you did covering the tiny home community, sharing options, enlightening us through out your journey was amazing and I personally thank you for it. Finally I'd like to say that I agree with you, people change, you had a wonderful phase that will stay with you as an experience of a lifetime and a cherished memory, now you are moving on to a new and exciting phase where I wish you all the best of luck.
