So very true..I'm 60, have lived in a tiny rented flat, owned a penthouse, and renovated a huge Victorian terraced house where I brought up my two kids...now retired, divorced and living alone in a small one bedroomed jewel box of a flat which I love...life goals change and as long as you are happy and safe anywhere can be 'home'. x

Hey, at age 68 I pulled up roots, moved from my 6 acre 100 year old Iowa farmhouse, bought a small vacation home in Florida on a quarter acre. I'm planting a food forest on my empty lot, lush gardens and moss laden oaks whirl a magic spell on me...at 71 now eating figs n mangos n papaya n banana off my trees, my fern blanketed paradise nurtures me into adulthood as I slowly(sorta)embrace old age all by myself...life moves on, take it as it comes, do it all for the right reasons...for your family...haters gonna hate...be you...! Oh and congrats...!!!

You haven’t “sold out”. Life isn’t about finding a lifestyle and sticking to it no matter what. Life is about experimenting, learning and evolving. Your tiny house was the first one I ever saw online and yes, it maks me a little bit sad knowing no one is living in it. But I am happy for you! Only one thing: you aren’t “starting” a family. I can only imagine how those negative comments drag you down, but maybe a different perspective would help your peace of mind - instead of addressing the comments, you could be sharing a life update with all of us who love and care about you and your channel! ♥️ You've helped so many people with your channel, and there's no rules to say you have to live a certain way - that's suppose to be what the whole tiny house movement is about - living however you want to! I agree 400 sqft is a tiny house, I would love to see renovations! Remember you've got 90 : 10 positive fans over negative poopoo heads! Excited for you for this new phase of your life Miss Jenn!

Congratulations Jenna and Nabil! Part of the tiny house movement is not letting someone else dictate your goals and how you choose to live. I think some people forget that. Besides 460 square feet is still tiny. You make an excellent point about building your house to suit your lifestyle - and your original tiny wasn't built for the life you live now. I would love to keep seeing how other people have chosen to live tiny, and the changes you're making to your home. Thanks for all the great videos you've posted. I look forward to your future posts.

In a world where so many people are in debt over their heads from student loans and mortgages and credit cards debts it is so refreshing and even inspirational at how you managed your life so well. A tiny house was your answer to the question and it paid off. I am confident that you and your little family will succeed in whatever plans you make. You have an incredible maturity at 26 when you decided to build a tiny home to get your debts paid off. What a sense of responsibility and ingenuity for that age. Now that you have a family started , I can only see amazing things ahead for you. Thank you for sharing your journey. I wish you all all the best with your family life and future goals.

So I don't really watch this channel, no special reason other than there are tons of channels around, but clicked out of curiosity when it popped up in my recommended feed and the first thing I can say is that you don't need to explain or defend things the way you do. It's no one's business but your own. Things happen, life change, circumstances change and humans adapt - it's what we do. Anyway, congrats on the baby, and wish you all the best! Hope you document all of the renovations made to the house etc, I love that kind of content personally :)

I started watching your videos about 6 months ago and stumbled into this video just now (it is a cold sunday morning in the Netherlands) and it is a special video because it is about YOU this time! I really don't know if it is any use reacting after 3 years, but I will anyhow. You don't have to explain yourself not living in this tiny house anymore for hundreds of reasons, but one of them is you've contributed so much to the tiny home movement; to me you are the face of it. Nabil looks like a great guy and I hope the two of you are truly happy. Thanks for the inspiring content you've been posting over the years.

Love this so much! My family and I too planned to live in our tiny house for the rest of our life. Hubby retired, we had such fun plans with our adult special needs son, oh the things we planned to do. We had 4 years in our home, some of the best of our life. Sadly hubby is now physically disabled and we had to move into a small home to care for him. Life happens. Enjoy the ride, it can be much shorter than you planned.

Oh my goodness, Mama!! I'm so happy for you!! Literally, did a little happy squeal when you said, "announcement." I've watched your channel almost from the beginning of your tiny house journey. It's amazing the life you've been able to create for yourself with that tiny house. People's journeys change all the time, and no one should judge you for that. Even if you don't live in your tiny full time anymore, you were able to do so much in it and still use it even now. You're still an advocate, and that's the very opposite of selling out. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with the new house! Congrats on the baby!! ❤️❤️

Hey Jenna. I've been following you for a few years. I loved your tiny house journey. I have been living in my own tiny house for just over a year, and I got a lot of inspiration from you while I was planning mine. I did it because my life changed. In my case, I'm rolling with the punches. In yours, you are fulfilling your dreams, and I'm so happy for you. I would love to see your progress in your new life, with your new family. Enjoy!

Firstly I was thinking "how dare people comment on your private life when this is clearly a blog about living tiny and having a great adventure in life because of it" Secondly, I got really happy and excited for you that you have your wonderful hubby and that together you are expecting (what a wonderful due date by the way!). Thirdly, in answer to your question - what do we want to see? Well, personally I have loved seeing other people's Tinies, including the AirBnB ones, and would love to see more of those. Maybe now as you are becoming a parent yourself you could really hone in on Tinies with kids/teens and how they are adapted or special space saving tricks. So really, those Tinies that are multi-ocupancy, not just singles and couples. To be fair, I love looking at everyone's Tinies! Great job, Jenna. Please keep going!

I think you are a wonderful example of a young person who knows what she wants, was not afraid to go for it and be happy. All of us make many decisions thst we regret and I think its great that you are very resilient, a go getter, and flexible. Lots of people I know who are unhappy stay that way because they cannot accept that they cannot have what they want (eg, an obedient child and smart child, a high paying job, etc etc) and unwilling to make changes. They want the world and the people around them to change so that they can be happy. You are brave, adaptable and will be an awesome mother!

Yay! When you said “I wanted to have kids one day” I literally said ‘and it’s one day’ then you stepped back to show us your tiny baby for your tiny living! Congratulations. And I hope you don’t worry one iota about what people say on the internet. If you followed them around online, in the comment section alone you’d be able to see how wishy washy even they are in the things they say to people they don’t know. My daddy used to say: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if they’re wrong. 😉

I didn't know the beginning of your story. Relationships ebb & flow and it's really no outsiders business. I just became aware of your channel about a year ago. I really enjoy it. Congratulations on the many wonderful things in your life: building & living in a tiny house, becoming debt free, meeting your husband, moving into a different tiny house with him, and now having a baby! All wonderful achievements you should be proud of. I would enjoy knowing more about your new tiny house and other older tiny homes, not just new builds.

Never mind the negative comments you don't have to live in a tiny house for the rest of your life. You do what is best for your family. I love your channel and will continue to watch I plan to buy a Tiny house next year and what i have seen on your channel has given me a lot of ideas. I want to see what you and your husband do with your current house when you finish it. The house you are in now is still considered a tiny house anything 500 ft and lower is a tiny house.
