When you are done ironing how do you remove the tape? I recently made a goomy and it took me an hour to remove most of it, how do you like to do it? Edit: I use masking tape so it’s not as wide as your tape

Just found your content this morning and thought your work was awesome. Was wondering if you had any recommendations on how to do these or if you had a video series on how you do these

What about those rolling pin things with the lil spikes on them. Aren't there designs specifically for perler beads?

Where a viable alternative to the tape method. I absolutely hate the tape method as I never fail to destroy my entire project when doing it and having to scrap and restart every time. Unfortunately for me the only other option I have is ironing on the boards themselves and then as everyone knows they warp and bad. I end up replacing my boards pretty regularly when they become unusable. Any ideas are appreciated

question what do i do if the melt isnt even? cus ive been getting tiny holes in the beads even after melting it, and the rest of the perler is melted, but not that one section

Bruhhh. THATS WHY YOU TAPE ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE BOARDS lol it holds it down. Plus, you cut you piece out AFTER you poke.

That only makes a marginal difference. The real problem is the tape. This is painters tape. It’s too thick. I made the vid so people would know the pegboard only works with some types of tape.

When it gets stuck is it because the pegs get too far down? Would a special jig with shorter pegs be better

part of it is also the stickiness of the tape. The pegs are wide and not sharp either.
