I watched your previous video from four years ago and then noticed that you had made a comment referring to this video. Of course the military we never ran single points, but I do have friends now that I’m out of the military that a couple of them like the single point sling. I’m glad you came up with a product that integrates the pros of both.

I was the poster child for single point slings, for years! But I finally figured out how to make a 2 Point act like a 1 Point and I have now switched over. I am never going back.

I bought my first AR during the lockdown in 2020. I had 30-30 and shotgun with two point slings prior. I got a one-point sling for the AR, but I got a two-point after a couple of months. I just like how I can stabilize the rifle with a two-point. Other people can choose what they want, but I'll stick with a two-point. .

Well now I gotta buy one of these 2 point slings and try them out because I've had a single point originally made by Basham way back in my truck gun and it's worked out so far.
@Tier1Citizen
@Tier1Citizen 2 жыл бұрын
Bruh! Yeah, you need to try mine. I make them with much tighter stitching and tolerances than Daniel did. He taught me how to make 1 Point Slings then I took it and made it my own. I took what I learned from doing that and passed it over tot he 2 Point Slings.

I have a PDW Sling that is specific for those types of weapons. Extreme shorties like that really can't even support a 2 point. A 7.5" can use a 2 point but anything shorter you need to go to a single point sling.

I have both of your designs. My (your) 1 point has a place in my setups. I have a sneaky bag setup that doesn't facilitate a sling attached in the bag. I'd rather attach one buckle than two and I'll never be in it for long. My use is very niche admittedly, but I'm glad I have it. We all grow, and to the naysayers who feel you're immune to growth, open minded-ness and learning ... please show me the person/trainer/expert who can't learn new ways and I'll show you someone who isn't likely a critical thinker anymore. Thank you for your honesty and candidness in your own path. Please though, continue to show options on effecient single point use, for some it still has a place.

So, how well do you think one of your slings would work on a Mini-14?
@Tier1Citizen
@Tier1Citizen 2 жыл бұрын
It would work extremely well. I work with folks to make them what they need and in some cases it becomes a new sling option. That's where the version with a QD on the back and an HK Hook on the front came from. Someone asked me to make him a sling for his AKM. He sent me some images of what he wanted and boom! Shoot me an email of your Mini 14 and I'll make sure to make you exactly what you need. No joke Wes, I literally am the only guy here at T1C. I make slings every day at my dining table and then clear away all of my sling making tools and supplies, and the dining table goes back to being a dining table. This is cottage industry artisan work at its best. Email me and let's make you what you need. There's no extra fee for this sort of thing. You guys help me get better at making slings. tier1citizen@gmail.com

Lee, please consider that when you buy from Amazon you're undercutting Americans who are trying to put out good products to support other Americans. Amazon is a clearinghouse for Chinese manufacturing. Their job was/is to get America addicted to cheap prices and fast shipping. They've done it masterfully and are slowly and surely going to turn that tap off as they continue to sink American manufacturing. Please consider walking away from Amazon. We dropped them three years ago and never looked back.
