Totally agree on your view, I also don't like grinding and updating my gears is not fun to me so I would also prefer it to be a matter of personal skills/experience. Ty for the advice, I think I will also try out that server.

We had shadow arena which was great for only pvp content and the cash was decent, but they changed it to a dead separate game it is sad how this game has changed. I miss the old times.

THIS video is fuckin perfect. I love the game but I feel every bit of frustration as you do. I love the pvp of the game, hence why i play it, yet it is gated by so much rng and grinding for money that it makes you not even want to put in the time. Its literally work and not a game anymore after a certain point. I felt the exact same during season. It makes way more sense. I like going out into the world and getting rolled because i suck not because some other player put 99999 more hours than me or just happened to get lucky af. Its disappointing but seasons are the best part of the game. And when they're done, I usually leave as well

What PA need to do is simple, Make multiple ARSHA server with various AP range. For example ARSHA server 1 need at least 600 GS, and there will be a limit GS for each server like in the ARSHA server 1 the max GS will be the range where the lower GS still have a chance to defeat the higher one. Then just put many strict rules in that server like, cannot change character or change to tagged character (Because there are ppl that grind in arsha and dont want PVP, so as soon as they meet ppl they tag to lower lvl cahracter), and also noone cant enhance in the arsha server, or higher gs can come to arsha but prohibited to do combat etc.

It's not a bad idea, but I think one of the problems right now is that in general, it's not really worth to be on Arsha on regular server because it's just more profitable to avoid PvP. Since gear so heavily influence who you can fight, people want to maximize the amount of silver / hr they get. The 50% drop rate boost just doesn't make up for being interrupted by PvP for most people, as they can make way more money by grinding 1 hour uninterrupted with loot scroll off Arsha.

What would you rank yourself in Bdo Ninja pvp? You & YeLo are my favorite. Yelo is a monster in 1v1. But you move & travel in art form. It's like you are dancing lol. Also how long did it take you to master your movement style?

Thanks for the kind words! I don't really like to rank myself, because imo stuff like that is always going to be biased and has a tendency to cause arguments. So I prefer to just let other people make that call. But I will say that since I primarily just do open world PvP, I would consider myself as more of a "jack of all trades, master of none" type of Ninja. Cause in open world you get a bit of everything, so I can do a bit of everything - but I'm still not going to be as good in 1v1 as someone who plays BA all day, nor am I going to be as good in large scale as someone who does gvg/nw/siege every day, etc. As for how long it took me, I started playing Ninja since 2018, so I have around 2 years of experience.

Well capped siege has given me around 7 bil total since launch.. for some casual who barely grind and never lifeskill its rather a big amount

Congrats. I do think that capped siege is a step in the right direction, but as of right now there's still not nearly enough PvP content to compete with PvE when people are reporting upwards of 400m / hr in Hadum by avoiding PvP. I am hoping that Pearl Abyss will start to put more emphasis on PvP, but that remains to be seen.

@@IntTuition Yeah that's only one day a week.. and it kind of killed node wars. I want open world pvp for the excitement it provides. Other mmorpgs doesn't cater for openworld pvp. Siege is also not open world pvp ..its organized.. I want to grind and get flagged by a guy that wants some action.. at least GVG offers it and arsha at some spots. However ist good tha tyou can get money for siege.. Definitely bring more people to the Siege and the capped gear makes the fights way more balanced

Well, so far they're doing a good job of drawing in new players with seasons, but I doubt they're retaining too many players once players realize how far behind they are in gear. Personally I would like to see things such as: - Changing the damage calculation formula so the gear gap doesn't make such a huge difference PvP. Like I said, right now 50 GS difference is already extremely challenging, and 100 GS difference is basically impossible. Once you finish season you're at 560 GS, while veteran players are at 700 GS+. So a new player could end up spending a year doing PvE and still not be able to fight veterans. That's just way too much. - Adding more gear equalized PvP content of various sizes. Right now we have Siege and Node War which are large scale content, but we basically have no medium or small scale PvP content (we have RBF, but it's not gear equalized and also it's kind of just a bad game mode in general). This could be things such as ranked arena, objective based game modes like capture the flag or domination, maybe bring back Shadow Arena, or maybe they can actually finish that Thornwood Castle game mode that they talked about like a year ago. - Add ways to get geared through PvP. Right now RBF gives something like 6m(?) silver if you win, you can do 1 RBF every 20 minutes or 1 every 10 minutes if you really optimize it for the money rather than for the PvP, so best you can do is 60m an hour assuming you also win every single round. Meanwhile you can grind Hadum for something like 400m/hour consistently based on what people have been reporting. So there's really no contest here which is better. Even grinding on Arsha isn't worth it for most people (which was kind of their solution of making PvP more profitable), because most people can make more money by grinding uninterrupted off Arsha for 1 hour rather than fighting for spot on Arsha.

But better gears scrore should beat someone lower gears score should make a lot of sense., play season because more players has some gears i understand the equality there.

Trial characters is basically just for 1v1s. You can't do Open World PvP, you can't do Node War or Siege, and official PvP tournaments always use normal characters with full gear rather than trial characters. In theory you could do RBF, but you won't have a good time since most of the people who do RBF on a regular basis are going to be above the AP/DP that trial characters give.

I liked this video, but for the exact reasons you explained I would suggest anybody to do what you suggested yourself. Delete this garbage game and never look back. It's not gonna get better. The combat is honestly not that gr8 and most importantly room for outplaying and skill expression is fundamemtaly meh and it's getting worse. Hf anyway

I still like the combat personally, and there aren't really any games out there with a similar style of combat right now. I think the game can still be fun if you play it in small doses by being a seasonal player, but each to there own.
