Yes, I have so much I want to post to KZbin, but didnt have a laptop. I'll be getting one by the end of the week. My current job is unstable with income, and I'm not feeling that. Especially since I have a bachelor's degree. 🙄

Girl, I'm quitting my corporate job literally tomorrow and I cannot wait. The level of crookedness and toxicity is too much. Literally I would have knots in my stomach at the thought of having to go in. When it starts messing with your mental state and your peace of mind, it's time to go.

God specifically instructed me to quit my job. I kept procrastinating ,but I did. He had me in a season of pruning which means that he was killing all of my depression and insecurities and fears and he made me a new person. I thought that God was going to place me in a regular 9 to 5 job ,but God was like NOPE! I'm sending you out to the nation's, because you're going to be an answer to a problem. Before I turned my life over to God I couldn't get a job to save my life. That was in God's plan all along. God works in a lot of amazing ways.

For a lot of people, they hear entrepreneur, they assume years of struggle and most likely you won’t make it. In a lot of cases back in the day that was true. Nowadays, it’s a lot easier to strike out on your own and start a business! You really just need that confidence like you and go after it!

Been there over 20 years, on my way out forever. Never looking back at it. I have had dreams through the years that it is represented as dirty stalls stuffed with mail and murky 💩. Even as a strip club, not knowing what to do next or no plan for life, it's scary. I must get out of this life sucking cycle called corporate.

INSPIRATION SIS!!Talk heavy!! This is what I've been exploring and researching as well, I dread every job I have. No matter how good the pay is, no matter how easy the same work is, not even the commute makes it better. I KNOW its because God has something greater for me, and sometimes my fear overpowers my faith. I'll be 28 this year, but I feel like I'm pressured to stay in "9 to 5 land" because I dont have a "natural" talent, but WHAT IF?! This video has been such and eye opener, even if i dont quit my job for years to come. This definitely shifted my perspective, Thank You Goddess and Many blessings on your journey❤

I have definetely thought about it, I have been grinding on my youtube & my own brand in hopes to leave my corporate job within the next year. You had a great point about being young, while you don't have kids, and making a bet on YOU! What's the worst that could happen, you would go back to working a good paying corporate job? See that's not so bad! It's only up from here... Can't wait to read your upcoming book.. keep grinding

Great to see videos like this. I'm seriously thinking about quitting. I work in the staffing industry, made it through COVID and was the last left standing at my office. I haven't had a manager for the last year and half; but my revenues exceeded my office's budget by 288% in April. Really feel bad about walking away from all of this. As we're preparing to reopen, laying off folks and merging lines of business. This will create even more work for me. I'm already pulling 12 -13 hour days without. Salary means you get paid the same no matter how many hours you work. The more I work the less valuable my time becomes.

Double edged sword here. For one Human Resources is not a real skill. HR is just there to protect the company from its employees. The good thing is that you had the courage to move on to something bigger and better. Good luck!
@NaturallyNellzy5 жыл бұрын
I don't know about that lol. I learned about building relationships and improved my people skills because of HR. I also learned a lot of useful information my graduate program that I now apply in my businesses. I think HR teaches you a lot of skills that can make you a more well-rounded person, especially when it comes to being in the business of "people". You just have to know when to apply certain aspects of what you learned. Thanks for the praise and for sharing =)
