I'm completely focusing on my small business now because all the jobs I have had only paid me 6 to 9€ for one hour. When as a graphic designer I work 15€ for one hour. And I felt the same, the companies didn't care about me, they just wanted the job done and I was without energy all the time. The first job I applied was for telephone operator on an electric company and this company didn't care about the customers, they were trying to scam them and they told me to scream and curse the client if necesarry. I only stay with that job 1 day, I came home crying and explaining the situation to my parents. I was hopeless thinking that every job I land would be like this. Since then I have worked as a sports camp monitor, tennis teacher, kitchen helper and gas station attendant. These are the ones that I worked with a contract. There are more but they are not worth saying. My experience with this jobs was always the same, every company was very happy with me, my coworkers said the same but no company renewed my contract because they are always looking for new people without experience so they can pay less. At less that's the situation where I live, I hope it's different elsewhere 🤔

I am Fully focusing on my Small Business, But there are so many people who will demotivate you and say that why are you not doing any job/ Why are you just sitting at home and doing nothing/ And Everything that will make you feel useless at some point. 🥲

@@JewelleryCraftingbyMansi I am so sorry that the people around you aren't supportive but I also hope you don't let that stop you from continuing to chase your dreams. Most people are scared to do what you do and go all out to achieve their dreams. What you're doing is inspiring and really amazing! Keep going!

I am just starting but am only doing that over the summer and then I’ll be starting my degree so will be doing that at the same time.

this really reflects this whole generation right now. that we are just tired of it. jobs shouldn't be traumatic or cause ptsd.

I have had a similar situation with the last job I had and I walked out. Sometimes the humanity of us needs to come before some heartless, soulless business.

I resonate with your story. I always love writing. After years put it apart, took master degree, become a stock broker, well, I'm not happy. I get back to writing, do my research, do freelance writing on the side, make my first $700. And nothing can stop me now ❤ 🎉

Tbh i feel this energy 😂! I myself is burnout with my full time job and this is working in a kitchen and always full on speed with no breaks and jobs traditionally that generations gone through due to money just gives people so much anxiety and trauma. So i feel comforted that we are not alone or we have other people that feel the same. Hope you’re doing alright 😊

Yelling is never ok for stranger on stranger interactions - that is so insane. I’ve done so much service industry too and I’m always feeling sorry for people who have to deal with these people in their personal lives - like I hope this person is abusive to me aka a stranger and not going home and acting like this to their children 😮. 🎉 so glad for your epiphanies - you are so fun to watch on your creative journey - you are so joyful and expressive. So fun 😊 made for KZbin. Keep it up - I’m sure you’ll hit the big numbers soon 😊 you and @bayleejae make my days 😊

@AbiNova Жыл бұрын
I feel you on that one! It feels like retirement is getting further away. At least if we work for ourselves we'll have a bit more control on that!
