I did the same thing you did, just quit without a plan. The sky did not fall on my head, life went on, and it all worked out. I retired at 55 and life is great. Sometimes taking a huge risk is a really great idea. Of course there's always the other side to that coin but nothing ventured nothing gained. We grow and learn as individuals by taking calculated risks whether they work out in the end or not. Great topic for a video, I enjoyed it very much!

Visiting a psychiatrist is a good idea. You may have a common depression case without knowing it. And changing the job may be not enough.

I'm so happy other people are experiencing the same problems as me. I recently stopped with my bachelors degree after 3 years because I did not want to end up behind a computer inside so I'm going on a 2 month trip to Norway. Thanks for making videos, keep strong.

Haha nice! Also glad to hear from people I’m not the only one! So thanks for this comment! Hope you’ll have a great time in Norway 😊

Do not worry, just take your time to search what makes you happy and what do you want to do in the near future, it could be in many forms and you can find it in random places. Enjoy the "free" time without worrying too much, the important part is to not stress out. A year ago I just left my PhD without any plan or clear idea of what to do. Now I am in another PhD position in a better university and environment, if you fill that somewhere is not your place, just leave and everything will come to its place eventually. All the best in your search for a better future!

I did the same thing when I was 31, now 39. Making 70k and still get me anywhere. Worked my ass off since 2008, for no substantial result or growed. Prioritizing Work, long days, also did me get any serious relationships, what I crave the most. Nobody tells you that, to be successful as a guy, dating / relationships becomes hard and time consuming. A meaningfull (romantic) relationship in life is the only thing what makes life worth living, But I don't no how to navigate to that. Most relationships that I see around me, ain't it or struggle to. My conclusion is that we prioritize the wrong things and I as a men, don't have or were to get a opportunity to learn do skills. Getting a master degree, hold a job, braught a meaningless world to my life, not worth living.

I don't think its delusional. You just need a break. Take advantage of this time off until you feel like you need to get back at it again. You're a smart adult woman, you'll find your way. Life is teaching you a lesson. You'll appreciate this moment when you look back later in life. I was on the same boat once. Don't let life beat you down...enough said

I quite my my job about 2 weeks ago after working there for 3 years. I am in a similar position, where I have no real plan. I am thankful I was good at saving money while I worked. I hope whatever comes next is good for you. Sort of hope, it means more videos 🤞

Glad you could relate to the video! It’s comforting to know there are more people in this position. We’ll both find our way! More videos is indeed the plan ;). Btw your comment on my “traveling alone” video inspired me to make my last video about overcoming shyness 😃

@@Lynneverly Thank you! I really appreciate your approach to delivering brutal truths. While my shyness isn't cured, you have given actionable steps to becoming a healthier introvert. I look forward to seeing your future videos. :)

I won't lie. Your eyes are crazily beautiful. Another amazing video :)! I'll come back to this comment in a year when you have 100K+ subs, haha. KZbin needs more characters like you. Honest and wholehearted. And you're definitely delusional. But that makes it fun to watch :D (joking)

Thanks! And I'm laughing out loud here! Glad that me being delusional is entertaining for you 😂

Dankjewel! 🙏🏼

"Everything that seemed like fun once in my life, just cost me way too much energy." Ah, that's just growing old! As a 46 year old I can relate to that 🤣 Good luck in finding a new job. You're still at an age and (thanks to your savings) in a position where quitting is *relatively* easy. Go for it.

More and more people are waking up and want to get out of the hamsterwheel of "sleep-work-prepare for work-repeat". They want to go "their way". That's why less and less people keep the system alive and it will break apart eventually. If AI doesn't take over, all the influencers disappear in insignificance as well because there is no technology behind it to spread their bs hahah
