Social media and the online world have a huge impact on our day to day lives. I share my story about why I think I'm friends with famous KZbinrs (but I'm not of course ;) and how this type of relationship (parasocial Relationships) can have an impact on our social lives. I use KZbinrs Emma Chamberlain and Mr Beast as examples in this video.

What an interesting topic! It's amazing how technology changes and shapes us as humans. Sometimes it's for the better and sometimes not. Balance in all things! This is pertinent to me. Almost two years ago I started following a fellow photographer over in Europe who started his own YT channel. Like your channel, I stumbled upon it completely by chance, and started watching regularly. I liked this man instantly. He's someone who I feel that I could be friends with in actual life. He comes across as very down to earth, genuine, kind and compassionate. He and I will never meet in person, and that's fine. However, interestingly, we have become Facebook friends and occasionally we will chat about various cameras and lenses, different techniques, beautiful locations etc. Being connected to other people is vital for us humans and now we have the technology to be connected in a new way. It's kinda cool 😎
