I saw a video from a KZbinr who made a review of Qatar Airways, and the aircraft condition was very poor. Additionally, the service did not live up to the airline's claim of being the "best airline in the world." I noticed many comments from aircrew members complaining about working conditions, long hours, minimal layovers, low salaries, and feeling like they are just considered numbers by the management.
@rosieRC-8 ай бұрын
It’s true that qatar airways has a few aircrafts like Airbus 320 that are not up to standards, but they use those only for limited routes, short routes. It is true, it is not perfect, there is also a dark side about this industry which I will share on my KZbin channel, but mostly I’m approaching a perspective for someone who wants to work as a cabin crew and wants to travel the world and experience life while getting the advantages from this job 😁

I am an simple graduate, my height is 5.6,",weight is 84 kg, age is 36. I have no experience and aveation degree. Can i be a perfect qatar, ethihad, Emirates cabin crew?
@rosieRC-8 ай бұрын
Hi ! The BMI ( body max index) for a cabin crew should be between 18-22 , yours it’s approximately 28 I would say ( you calculate that according to your height and weight , you can easily check using google ) . Unfortunately a 28 BMI is too much, but you can work on it ! Emirates to be honest prefers really young candidates, but you can still try. Etihad and Qatar are more permissive with the age as I noticed. Important is to make an excellent impression at the interview. Good luck !

@@arghyabanerjee3255 I’m sorry to hear… a big scar on your forehead might be another reason, unfortunately they are quite strict with visible signs. A transformation it’s definitely possible, I really believe someone can become the best version of themselves, but this is only up to you if you are willing to take that step. Also try other airlines! Maybe Kuwait, or Oman , or just a smaller airline around you, just be opened! 🙏

As a customer who's flying, how safe is Quatar Airways? After watching many jet accident movies, I happened to unlock a fear of flying with them. Flying first class, India to doha to Washington, this week. Is there much turbulence? I'm asking as you are fully aware of their flight experiences and pilots as you've fled to so many countries before..
@rosieRC-8 ай бұрын
Hi! It’s pretty safe, Qatar airways is definitely a safe airline. I mean you can’t control turbulences and catastrophic situations, but the airline itself is very strict with safety and the aircrafts are new and always checked by the engineers, safe flights !

Does Qatar Airways reject candidates who have thyroid issues?
@rosieRC-8 ай бұрын
Personally I was never asked for a thyroid test in aviation, so I guess it depends how severe the problem is. If it affects you on a daily bases , then definitely now. But if it’s not affecting you much, I won’t declare and still apply. However , as a flight attendant you are exposed to a higher level of radiation and this can be very dangerous in a long term for someone with thyroid issues.
@sbnerji125558 ай бұрын
@@rosieRC- If someone gets selected, they'll need to submit their blood reports. In my case, they can easily check my TSH level from my blood tests and I'm concerned they might reject me if they find out I have a thyroid issue. @@rosieRC- My TSH level is about 9.6 which is higher than the normal range and I'm taking medication for it. I dont understand why people resign after 3-4 years. Ok, I understand about all the jetlags, sleepless nights, etc... but you should have known this before aplying right? I mean in all jobs you can experience burnout, mental block, stressfull situations,doing the same thing... I work as a Financial Manager in a bank, and mentally I get stress too... but I dont understand like YOU DONT PAY FOR REST BEING CABIN CREW, YOU GOT TONS OF DISCOUNTS. I dont want to say that you just fly and thats it. I know its a big responsibility to be a cabin crew, the downsides etc... but seriously to thos who want to apply Emirates don't waste time then if in the future you will resign. I mean think about the people who trained you for how many months, and all of the sudden youre gonna resign. I mean give others opportunity then to FullFill their dreams and who's really 100% deserving with this position. If you just apply just to post on your social medias, and free travel then RETHINK once again DONT APPLY. Give others opportunities to stay in the company for more years. Its also unfair for those people who waited years just to enter inside the company and they are giving the wrong spot for wrong people.
