Trucking got boring to me it was fun at first, and then it got too boring. I still enjoy looking at them beautiful and gorgeous classic long nose rigs, I wished I had one parked in the backyard just to enjoy. It wouldn't have to haul anything it can just stay put in the backyard just to enjoy. Trucking is the loneliest job i ever done in my life it's pretty bad if I say that because I like jobs that don't have very many people around me since I'm not much of a people person I stay to myself, I know I got home sick really bad I couldn't eat all of my favorite foods and I missed my family.

Regardless of what you have happening in your life Alex, I know for sure you steered me in the right direction because I was considering getting into the trucking business out of desperation. I barely just subscribed to you only a few weeks ago, and you're not losing me for sure. I know now that I would never make that mistake (for myself) not speaking for anyone who might be genuinely considering their life in the trucking business. I gained a lot of valuable information about the industry not only from you but other drivers and youtubers. I came to the conclusion its not as lucrative as a business as it used to be. A lot of the businesses are very predatory on people who might be in a position to give up anything for a better life who may come to regret it. I will continue my journey towards success and personal happiness. I am looking forward to more inspiration in general about your own decisions in life. Keep up the good work and I am impressed with what you have achieved. I am looking forward to learning about the further success you will find in life as a young man. You might not be "ALEX THE TRUCKING GUY" anymore but you are "ALEX THE MAN" to me, you have your whole life ahead of you! You will continue to find more success, and more importantly happiness. I wish nothing but the best for you!! You are the reason i got into trucking. I got into it kind of for the reasons your getting out. "What else is there for me to do?" Has always been my mentality. The current company I'm with I know I will not be with forever. It's just a start. I want to get more specialized into doing things that do not include warehouses. LOL. I'm looking to get into the entertainment sector of trucking. I just have to get a little bit more experience to get there. I can't wait to watch what you have going on with your next chapter in your life!

Not a trucker but this channel is what made me realize this is what i want, i can't stay still in one place i adopted a very nomadic life style but that implied starting from zero every time because i was scared to go for this line of work, so thank you for this and hugs man, much luck in this your journeys

I have had a few different careers in my life, life changes, your goals change. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I was licensed in 1986, and have maintained my CDL, and while you may not think you will ever need it in the future, freight needs to be delivered, drivers will always be needed. It is a parachute to help you get to the next chapter. You also found something most do, it becomes a rinse and repeat everyday, pickup, dropoff, take your break, and it is very lonely out there. Not everyone can attain their CDL, and the reality is, OTR is a hard life, but one you should be proud of, not many make it a year. Good luck on your future endeavors. Hope to see you vlog your next great adventure.

Hi Victor. I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful man with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this compliment. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌺🌺🌺

I’m thinking about taking this tech boot camp to become A soft engineer and quit trucking but I’m just not sure yet. That type of career change requires a lot of commitment and dedication

Alex, good luck with your future life endeavours. I've been watching your channel since you pretty much started it. I don't comment much, but I am an avid watcher of content. I will continue to watch whatever content you create! I completely understand how you feel about your choice. The feeling of "doing everything in life", then feeling bored, alone, tired. You should chase your other dreams! Travel outside of the country, try gaming if you're into that, socialize and get to know people! I'd happily be your friend. 😃

I've went through 2 major career changes in my life. It's easier when you're younger; but it's never easy. Life keeps going and a career impacts every part of your life. I'm getting in my career where it just feels like a grind. Work life balance is so important when you consider we spend about 60 to 75% of our life working. I hope you'll keep doing videos Alex, even if it's on another channel and a different job.

Alex, I know your feelings verry good you're describing. Trucking even in Europe is the same way. You're in your truck, goeing from place A to B where ever this place is. And this is a thing that burns you out. I could imagine that you've a family out there and you're missing them. But you must be healthy by your soul and your body. I'm also a truck driver who don't know if it's the right job because I'm out for a long time now. I think you're goeing your day. You're young and smart and you're a great guy with a lot of experience. You're goeing to find your way. I believe in you. 😊

Good for you. The only thing I could suggest is you better find some kind of subject matter to keep your audience intrigued since you’re not driving anymore
