Why I quit

The last time I've uploaded a good old classic doobyvlog was probably over half a year ago. It's weird because I kinda quit cold turkey sometime last year because... well I just couldn't do it. It felt like my whole body shut down into save battery mode to protect myself, and every time I tried to turn on the camera to talk a bit more about my life, I found myself freezing.
In a much better headspace, happy and surrounded by good friends and family. I'm super excited about vlogging this year and letting you all back into my life once again.

an old style classic dooby vlog was so much needed. This video was such an emotional rollercoaster, incredibly introspective on many topics, almost nostalgic in a way and oh god I died with the rue/roux caption like God really made you the queen of captions😭 I just can’t stop thinking about how much of an inspiration you are to me. 2023 was a year where all the work had to be done no matter what, resulting in stress and shitty situations, and tbh I also felt a bit like that. It was all preparatory, to set the base for what 2024 and the next years will be. You worked so hard and you deserve to rest, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Oh and I might need a more in-depth video on some recipes you guys cooked on Christmas because woah I literally wanted to jump through the screen and catch that juicy duck lmao. Hope that aprons will be available soon because I can’t wait to buy one for myself and my little cooking hobby. Great video Tina ( as always hehe ) and keep it up, you have so much people that support you no matter what, me included

I can relate to this along with my family. My family is white american and my 4 brothers all fell in love with asian culture and are now married/dating an asian woman. I was the last one to follow the memo so I also decided to date an asian woman. Interracial couples between white man and asian female as been the most popular couples in the world and steady increasing each year. I think we just find each other the most compatible and are the definition of love. It truly is a miracle that we are in a time to be able to mix with people we couldn't thousands of years ago.

Thank you for sharing this. I remember reading comments in past vlogs and thinking to myself 'wtf, how people can be so hateful and care so much about the relationship of someone that they haven't a connection with', but from my perspective as an latin american woman I reeaally understand the societal pressure to conform to certain values and aspirations. No one will ever love and have your best interest at heart then your family..... majority of the time when you go against your parents ..you will most likely fail in everything (love finances, etc).... i learned the hard way - i was hard headed and thought i knew better, differ generation, etc. Dont go against your family.
