Fun fact. They're called Tony Chocolonely because at the time they launched, they were the only brand in the Netherlands (their home country) that was completely committed to being a slavery free chocolate bar, and therefore lonely. They were founded for that specific reason. I love them because they have a lot of wild flavours. I would love to send you some.

I was supposed to visit Paris for the first time in March 2020, as a university graduation present to myself. I was lost in life, single for a LONG time, and hoped for a bit of Parisian magic to inspire me. Literally the day before my flight left the whole world shit down. Two years later, nothing has changed. Still pretty lost, still extremely single, and still haven’t visited Paris. But one day I will. I’ll wander the streets eating yummy food, pretending I’m in Amelie, pretending I’m in Midnight in Paris, and indulge in many incredible works of art. This video will keep me working towards that dream. Thank you dooby!!

In 2019 I was in all sorts of emotional vibes so I tripped to Paris on a solo ting. It was beautiful, romantic, nasty, delicious - all of it. A magical city. The couples all making out on the grass in literally every grass patch available made me want to jump in between them and blow hella gas just to be that guy, but jokes aside, I'd love to visit again... Can't wait to watch the video during lunch break! Finished watching: That was beautiful. I miss Paris..

When it's all said and done Dooby will be known as one of the greatest VLoggers to ever do it (not just in food category). Her cinematography, comedic instincts and candidness are 1 of a kind. And she's an army of one. No editors or marketing team, just her, a few iphones and and a Mac. She's not even really acting for the camera either. We can see why she has grown so fast.

After living for so long in the US I think I'm starting to understand how Americans feel when they visit Paris, even though I'm French, and from Paris. Through your perspective I can imagine how the city may seem, at times, like a "vitrine", a showcase, something frozen in time. It's like you know there's a lot more going on but you'll never really know because there's a barrier between Paris and its tourists that doesn't exist in London or NYC. It makes me realise how privileged we are, those of us who can call this city home.
