Xixtin the Great: You are probably a lonely, miserable feminist somewhere talking crap about not taking nonsense from any man? What has what she is saying got to do with being a strong powerful African woman? She was abused and battered by a very bad human being that called himself a king and a husband. That is the point; not about being a socalled "powerful strong African woman," and "men dishing out nonsense." The woman is sincere and was innocent, perhaps, naive and taken advantage of by a senior partner.

Majority of things that glitter are not gold. Dust urself up and strive for your child. @@temiladealamudun5063 I always tell my friends, when you get married dont abandon your identity, dont abandon who you are, Dont erase your life for LOVE. This thing called love is relative, some men will beat their wives, and then apologise and say I had to correct you because I love you! And the woman will clean her tears, smile and go back to being wife. I am very surprised that Olori Chanel abandoned her life in Canada, why would she do that to herself???? and when she noticed she was in danger and the marriage was slowly sinking, she should have just start planning and organising herself. Money is big deal, some people say it's the root of all evil, it's clear that it is the solution to her problems, that's why it is so important that you are financially independent, marriage or no marriage. After this shaming, I hope knows She isn't safe Nigeria and have to be careful even when with people trying to support so called NGO (fact) Nigeria is different oo, She can go back and build her NGO for her safety. Pls tell her

That's the very reasons for putting her story out. If anything happens to olori chanel now we all know without doubt who would have masterminded it. Period. Not speaking up for themselves is the very reason the average Nigerian women are in bondage and enslaved in bad relationships. I encourage you to return to canada and give yourself some time to heal then come back when you're in better frame of mind to progress the work of your ngo. Single mothers usually have shelters automatically provided in more organised societies. Your ngo will save so many lives if you can provide a safe shelter for a single mother and her children who need to flee from an abusive relationship. As you can see, in Nigeria there's currently no where to go.

The Yoruba needs to help this young lady so that our race might be off from this international disgrace of Oluwo of Iwo

The Yorubas needs to help this young lady Her Royal Highness Chanel Chin , we have been disgraced by Oluwo of Iwo Oh Yee decedants of Oduduwa this is in our court. Our Great Great father has been a blessing to our generation and our course , when I listened to this lady and her stories at the palace of Oluwo of Iwo, I wept for our generation and the ones to come about the irresponsible Obas we have in Nigeria. This is a very slap in the face of all the members of the Royal family of Oluwo of Iwo i and in general to all the generation of the Yoruba race , Please Oni and Alaafin

You're on point. (#irresponsible oba). Olori Chanel will pick up agsin and move on. However the bigger concern lies with the people about the quality of individuals who are now ascending the various thrones which previously used to be held in high esteem and reverred. The fore fathers wpuld stir in their graves if they ever knew that one day a card fraudster and cocaine snuffing oba will ascend to that throne. Was there another one who does the cat-walk fashion run-way? These are truly strange times.

Warrior queen, thank you for standing up against royal rascality. Its amazing how u gracefully narrate this painful story. Queen Chanel, You are an amazing character. With God on your side, I'm certain you will be greatly blessed.

A young successful Jamaican lady who was doing well for herself and based in Canada, then decided to visit Africa/Nigeria for the first time, because of her love for the continent. Only for her to experience a horrible thing like this from a yoruba man? This is indeed a shame to entire yoruba race. Is this the kind of street urchins you crown as monarchs in yoruba land? shame shame shame for treating this innocent lady this bad.

Your Royal Highness, you are dignity personified, dont ever feel less. I like your spirit, just keep up the high spirit and keep up your faith in the supreme efficacy of the Lord Jesus. God surely has delivered you and most especially your son doesn't deserve to grow up in such space. He deserves better...and that's why God in His wisdom may have arranged the break up. Give that child the best and ensure you protect him with all that you have. Dont be careless with him. He is your inestimable and priceless reward. Shalom!

He has not destroyed you. He has made you stronger. One word describes him- narcissistic! Don't regret your past choices. Your experience has made you who you are. Lesson learned. God has great things in store for you. This is all part of your process.

I respect this Olori's wisdom. She is educated and knowledgeable. She is assertive and well-composed in this interview. She should stick to her faith in the Lord. Now she should no longer fall headlong for any man until she understands him in different situations.

I can't believe the Nigeria government ;the Nigeria head of state BUHARI has not given an order for this king to be arrested for having sex with a 13 years old girl Where are all the women groups in Nigeria? They have seen the video what are you guys waiting for ? This can't be covered up in a western world .every body will go on the street for the king to be removed I feel sorry for her I cried listening to what she went through

@@verasunmor1566 No head of state anywhere, whether Nigeria or the 'western world' goes about arresting people willy-nilly without any justification.
