This is adventurous and kudos to you guys. However, your title of the this video seems not in sync with the content. You said “Why I regret traveling to Northern Nigeria” while in reality you enjoyed the trip and even enjoyed uncommon hospitality. Kudos for bringing to us the part of Nigeria that not many people dared to venture and create a content from.

I'm from the South and have never been up "North", so for me this is the most interesting part of the country. The North is twice the size of the South and have more varied landscapes and diverse peoples when compared to the South. You even went to states that are barely mentioned ie Taraba and Gombe. I know a little of Taraba because I read accounts by Oyinbo about Gashaka Gumpti Reserve (I don't remember you mentioning it), which encompasses varied biomes and also wildlife. It was reading a book written by Oyinbo that I came across the name "Chapal Wadi". You put a face to the peoples of these lands. For me at least I know what landscape to think of when Gombe is mentioned, whereas before I drew a "blank" when people say Gombe.

Mr Nkwa, I came to know of your videos only recently. I have watched a lot of them now and I have subscribed. I would like to congratulate you on the wonderful work you are doing, sending out to the world the beauty and wonders of your country. I really like the balanced manner in which you report and narrate about various aspects of your country. There is no whitewashing anything, and no patronising attitude from you towards those you interact with in the making of the videos. I tip my hat at you for that. In the video about movements of goods between Nigeria and Cameroon, I was truly touched by the mechanic who tutored young boys on how to work with the ageing Land Rovers. As that was the first of your videos I watched, I feared for a moment that you might castigate the mechanic for "child labour", but there was no such chastisement from you. I salute you for that, Sir, because on our continent there is a fine line between empowering children and abusing them for cheap labour. Keep up the good work. Best wishes from my tormented country, South Africa.

Your videos have been a really nice thing to watch. It must be hard being a passenger on a bike. It's easier for one person on the bike and you can stand up when you go over rough terrain.You can't do that on the back. . I get what you are saying. Good job. Much appreciated. Thanks and stay safe. ❤️🙏🇨🇦

Just came across some of your clips. Reminds me of Travel Channel's Globetrekker programme; loved, loved, loved it.... back in the day, b4 DS.v dropped the channel; i wonder why, were we not worthy?! 😣 Anyway, I never knew we'd have our own homespun equivalent. I look forward to relaxing and going back to watch what I've missed since the onset. A town with different languages for different genders...in this Nigeria....wow?! 😯 Your clips will definitely proof that most of us actually know little about our own environment. I'll definitely be recommending your channel to others. Keep up the good work, stay safe, and avoid unnecessary risks!

You guys made me laugh. I learnt the hard way about the mentality the further north you go in Nigeria. You basically fed the whole community with your endless spending. Research and a next time, you will be massively prepared. If at all possible, take your own kit. It may be inconvenient carrying a load and extra personal who are conversant with the local language. Well done though, guys you have done us so proud as Nigeria has so much potential if only the so called leadership wasnt in such a shambles.

You need to improve the narration skills....your content is rich and educative, but the narration is poor. You have been trying of recent to improve the narration aspect, I hope you get it right.
@franklingeorge6174
@franklingeorge6174 Жыл бұрын
@adetaiootuyemi8169 What do you mean by their narration is poor?? As far as I am concerned, they are being as genuine, natural and original as they are suppose to be. Its unfortunate that we always have to be fake, be scripted or sound like onyinbo man or use onyinbo man concept for us to be accepted by some people. Its hard enough for them to do what they are do and I don't think its is fair in any way to baselessly and openly criticize them on some irrelevant stuff.
