I bought her class and got 2 cheaper cars. It's going really well and looking to add more in the near future. She's right I have a 2013 hyundai elantra that i rent out for around 33 to 35 dollars a day. A new elantra rents for like 42 or 45 dollars a day but a new one cost like $20k more and the insurance is higher

What market are you in? I'm in VB and an old Elantra rents for $40-45 and new $45-60. Although that gap definitely widens during the summer, our 2023 Elantra goes for $70-80 during May-August (were as our economy cars stay around $40-50).

@@kevinorellanaable Oh okay, yeah I can imagine it's definitely a slower market there right now (with the weather you've been getting). VB is still getting a few 60-70 degree days here and there (thankfully with the warmer weather patterns coming up from the gulf🙏🏽). From what you've seen so far, have you noticed a slight premium for 4WD/AWD vehicles in your local market?

@ZayTson ya it's been cold and we've gotten snow here in Chicago. I'm still getting rentals regularly but at a lower price for now. Suvs definitely have a higher rate than cars in the area.

Aubrey's strategy (and course) is really solid and provides a good foundation if you're just starting out on Turo. I'm at 28 cars now (I've fluctuated between 25-30 the last 3 months) and I bought her course back in 2022. It definitely helped me with getting the cash flow needed to grow my fleet quickly and give me the capability to finance a few newer vehicles here and there.

Either gas savers or exotic. In between vehicles won't rent well.

Could you tell us how much profit (revenue minus expenses) you made in 2023 from Turo and how many hours a week on average did you both put in the business? That info will help potential Turo hosts decide whether or not to invest in the business including in your masterclass. According to online sources, with 25+ cars in the fleet, a host could be making 25k a month. How much higher or lower are you guys?

Look into Ford Fusion Hybrids (NOT the Ecoboost) 2013-2020, good size, ride, mileage and reliability.

My fusion platinum 2.0t is doing great. Hybrid is good for saving gas but once the hybrid system starts having problems 💰💰

This model also works for Uber! I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited. Most people don't think it's an old car because it's always clean, smelling good and has a wine colored leather seats and luxury themed interior. Of the 2,000 trips I have, at least 4 people told me that " we don't use our nice cars for Uber." I'm sure they don't know it's 2011 model and I only bought it for $2,800 😅😅😅.

When they get returned you get them washed and you vacuum them. Every few trips you have to give it a good wipe down but keep in mind lots of rentals are for days or sometimes weeks at a time.
