Why I Sold my Scion tC

I am bonded to my 92 VW GTI 16v. Owned since 98. I have had my 15 manual XB for just over 2 years and grown to feel pretty happy with it. I will keep it as long as the GTI (that I won’t ever sell). For a Toyota product, its got some charm. What drew me to it over a Corolla of similar refrigerator like auto. If I had that TC I would have likely kept it. I don’t pull trailers or go off road. I wish my XB had a sunroof like the TC. I’m no SUV person.

lack of pockets is my perk! why can't they have one on the left side of steering wheel like the camry? why couldn't they put one on the ceiling near the roof controls like the camry? fun stick shift car tho

i have 2015 SCION TC and i find it kinda annoying that it doesnt have a coolant temperature display, i have to much anxiety for that lol

Sounds perfect, but I'm located in Ontario Canada. I just picked up a 2016 Scion TC Base model with the 6 Speed Manual Transmission. These cars will soon be vintage, since Scion is no longer in existence. I know for a fact, you'll look back at the past and say you used too have one.

@@raycoe2927 ehh it depends on the weight of the car and how you drive it. That car is probably more aerodynamic than the scion tc as well so it’s probably alittle better

It's sportier for it's class. The engines in the tC's are sports-tuned compared to the other lineups (corolla, camry etc) and the tC also weighs a bit more. I enjoy the extra pickup, I'll take that over a few extra mpg's. Regardless, sure as hell is better on gas than my wrangler! haha. I recently got a 08 tC with 135k miles on it. Love it!

I used too have a 2010 Corolla XRS 5 Speed Manual Transmission, I was filling up at the gas station twice a week. I don't think it's the car, it's the engine my Corolla had the 2AZ-FE I drove mostly to work and stores when I had to grab some items like grocery and my gas didn't last long. Keep in mind I didn't drive on the Highway, I do City driving the majority of time.

@@static_Tricolor_camry same with me man I have a 09 xrs and a 12 tc both aren't so great on gas but hey if you want reliability I guess you have to pay up lol

@@mrjfox1000 My 2007 Toyota Camry has the 2AZ-FE 5 Speed Manual Transmission. It's currently leaking oil on the block, so I have to take it a part to see if it's the gasket that needs to be replaced. It seems to be better on gas, then the Corolla I had.
