I have a 2015 with 140k miles. Bought it with 20k on it. It has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I’ve only had to change one wheel bearing lol. Enjoy it!!

I have a 2014 Scion TC I’ve owned for three years now. Absolutely fault free. Low cost of ownership. Just basic maintenance ( dealer maintained ) and tires. No upgrades or mods. Double sunroof and excellent factory sound system are great perks. Not to mention Toyota reliability.

How is your tc doing any issue after a year and what's your mileage?

Not bad at all! Minor things like replacing bulbs and tires but going strong I have 65k on it!

The 2014-2016 models with the 6 Speed Manual Transmission are getting harder to find. I'm currently searching for a 2014-2016 TC2 with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission, the one's in my area that's for sale at used car dealerships are all Automatics. A month ago, there was a few of them with the Manual Transmission but people keep grabbing them quick before I can call the dealership for a test drive and put down a downpayment.

Well. I own one. Just bought it actually. A 2013. I am quite happy with the torque. The manual trans feels good, but maybe a bit vague. The suspension leaves a bit to be desired. It's a bit floaty. But overall. I am satisfied with the well known reliability of the drivetrain, and the interior is well designed and very driver centric. I think it's a pleasant car to drive daily and have a little fun with. Sadly the 2nd gen doesn't have the support the first gen once had. Its certainly not something I would ever use for motorsports though. It's just too vague and sloppy and is better as a fun commuter.

These are great cars. I can fit a kayak inside the car and it took 30 minutes to put a hitch on for my bike rack. Get high 20's mpg and I drive it like I stole it. Manual is the only way to go. Corners like it's on rails and plenty of power. Great stereo. And Toyota reliability. Was thinking about a sports car but this is fun and practical. I'm 53.

I'm working on buying one right now, and I'm glad to hear it was easy to get a hitch on for a bike rack since I'll want to do the same thing. Did you do the smaller or larger receiver size?

@@jasonhurdlow6607 I went with the smaller hitch, it's all you need. You can also fit a bike inside. My other car is a Corvette and I think the scion is more fun on a twisty road.

@@theguy4615 I already have a rack that uses the larger size that I put on the family minivan, but I know they size them based on towing capacity. Was just hoping to use my existing rack is all. Will have to research a bit I guess. Might need a new rack, or try one of those SeaSucker ones. But for just me, throwing it in the hatch would prob work fine most of the time.

I bought one too, a 2012.. everythings great except gets low mpg around 20-22. I replaced sparkplugs and did a tune up still the same.. i dont know what it is.

I’m averaging 24 mph and I drive it hard! 😀. Easily over 30 on the highway...

Honestly seems like the best of both worlds. Has a little less hp than a Civic si but it has the reliability of a Toyota. Is this line of thinking reasonable?

Honda makes great cars too. If you’re on the fence on which car to get I would suggest you test drive both and go with the one you like the best...

Na Honda Civics only will go like 200k then start having oil leaks and all types of promblems camrys well over 350k

Eco mode only tells you when you're driving economically and isn't part of a "save gas" mode

Can this be a good family car? I have a 3 year old daughter. We also have a Honda CRV but I wanna take the family in the small car as well.

Bro I had 3 and in still have my bike .... Im looking at another one ... Theres no way I could drive that car in and automatic and im in ny everyone I had is stick shift ... Has to be manual. I also had to veloster turbo's . this now one im looking at has 83k lil weary about the mileage .

Good question. It’s not bad. It’s a safe car. Not too powerful. It’s not going to do a ton of damage. It was about half the price of my last vehicle, a Dodge Ram 1500....

Be quiet!!!!! People will start buying tC's till they're all gone or used up! Same with the 2013-2015 Scion xB!
