I was approached by someone making a large donation, who commissioned me to make a detailed custom map for them. Long story short, they withdrew their donation and never paid the commission, and so I was left with the world. I added a custom dungeon to it, and now I’m sharing it with you all! Download it here:

Sadly this is something that happens a lot to artists, paying trough paypal benefits a lot to the one making the donation in the sense you can "rembolse" at any time even if you have delivered your part. You have to ensure in a lot of steps to be safe from this, is a known scam to get free work.

woah! This map looks amazing! I wish I had the patience to something of this degree. I really enjoyed the custom dungeon, really liked the secret door mechanic with the sticky bombs, I thought that was pretty creative. The mushroom farm and fishing ponds are really cool, and I only recently learned how you made each pond a different biome so close to each other. I overall really enjoyed playing this map and hope you had just as much fun making it!

The reason he calls it generic is because he is judging it from builder's perspectives. His house is indeed a simple build for most terraria builders, you can find a few examples on the forums or on the terraria reddit where they use everything they can to make their builds as good as possible. There are even seasonal competitions with cash prizes for best builds, and some of the things people do make you question how it's even possible in Terraria.

Sadly not worth it, even if he's in the right. Unless were talking about amount above 100k. Sueing someone can easily cost you more than you get out of it. That's sadly the way the legal system works.

*Appears from 2020* Wow... this is probably one of the most amazing maps I've ever seen someone build in *anything*, let alone a game like Terraria. Like a few others, my heart sank after hearing what that guy did to you, after all of the hard work you put into this terrific setting.
