I’m late to the party yes but you said what I’ve been saying for years now. The limited world size is more of a strength than a limit. It enables the player to see the world and see that their impact has meaning in this world. What they build cant be out done by any terrain and cant be considered small in any way because the world itself has visitable limits. Its not so small you feel you cant do anything but its not so big that you feel small in comparison. Its like they say, “Limitation breeds creativity” Thanks my friend. You brought an old soul some joy on a sleep deprived night.

My fav version of this game has to be 1.12, since it is are what I consider the version before the storm, the version before major changes

i know they be adding way to much stuff in the modern version (dont get me wrong i love/hate it but its too much they need to slow down a bit)

@@bobbyhill629 Main problem with the new updates is basically too little new stuff with little substance, I am fine with small things being added if they are interesting and has many uses, I don't hate the new mobs but aside from one odd interaction you have to go out of your way to do is something I do not like

@@bobbyhill629 funny thing is that for the past few updates the things they've been adding is smaller compared to 1.14/1.16 and now we have people that are complaining how this million dollar studio can't make bigger updates

i got into legacy console edition a while back with 360 edition and what i love about the console versions is that how optimized it is for the 7 consoles legacy console was released on unlike bedrock for consoles

Minecraft legacy is the GOAT for me. I still love this version better then Bedrock. I have a little older version of the game though.

Actually, the PS3's last version is the 1.13! It doesn't have sweet berries, crossbows or the new villages! Its all the 1.13 on the PS3. Its generally a bit diffrent from the PS4 Edition

Now the reason why I'm playing PS3 Minecraft legacy edition is cuz PS4 was too expensive It was so great, going to tutorial world and setting up creative mode And the music choices are so great (I mean is just music from Minecraft, but it plays very often, and that great)

This video hit my ps4 Minecraft nostalgia so bad, I remember Playing with my middle school friends all day after school on creative worlds and survival as well and it was just the most calm moment ever, I wish I could turn back time and relive those moments again but we all know that this is impossible now because now we are all adults and have responsibilities

I remember the time where i first ever stated Minecraft on the Old XBox 360. The time i had on it is still to this very day unforgettable. I played it with my little brother and build together giant castles, treehouses, custom Mariokart tracks, role playing worlds with city’s, two warships that could shoot each other with TNT cannons and many, many more. My favorite feature where always the creative worlds that one could create and the texture pack worlds with the new added music and the given love that the worlds there where made of. Sadly my console broke but one day i will visit this old and nearly extinct time again. Im happy to see that still to this very day people are still playing the old Legacy editions and still appreciating it for what it was back in time…

I also love this limited size worlds, becouse It has limited resources, and you have a bit of stress with every creation of the world thinking of things like ,,Will it have a jungle biome, or mesa or even ice spikes biome. Will I find a mansion or ocean monument". Classic world size generation gave some kind of excitement, what things I can find, and what things I will never have there.

Not gonna lie I think Minecraft PlayStation 4 edition is the best game deal for ps4/ps5. You get the old legacy edition and the new bedrock edition for free with it. And it only costs like 20$ on eBay or 30$ on gamestop

6:33 You can play like that on Bedrock and Java too, I think you just associate this freedom of doing anything with this edition because it‘s the only edition where you actually did play freely. Nowadays you *are* pressured of getting the best gear etc. and because everyone plays Bedrock/Java you associate this pressure with those versions if that makes sense

One video I watched explained it well. "Minecraft gets updates and never feels complete" On legacy it actually feels like a finished game because there is no more to add. Its just it, and thats good.

I play legacy edition everyday and me and my brother skype with our cousin when we play for fun, and sometimes i make a Minecraft map on legacy, then plan to export it to my computer for public!

I play the Xbox 360, Wii U, Switch, and Xbox One Legacy versions. And even though they're the same game they still have minor differences that set them apart, unlike Bedrock where it's pretty much the same on every platform. I want to play the PS4, and PSVIta editions but I don't have either console.

In a way the fact that PS4 edition got all the way to 1.14 but other consoles like the Switch only got 1.12 and i think xbox only got to 1.13 is crazy. There is no specific ending to Legacy Edition. But PS4 got the farthest.

I had a PS4 and I played bedrock and legacy console edition but 2 years ago stupid me decided to play with a volleyball and it hit my PS4 and broke it :( so I can no longer play legacy console edition
