Why I Switched From Google Pixel 6 to iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Here is why I switched from my Google Pixel 6 to the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was certainly long overdue for an upgrade!! Hear me out on the switch from Android to Apple and why it fits the creator lifestyle so much better!

The Pixel definitely wins when it comes to photography. I also prefer the video quality that Pixel provides, which is grainy but detailed. However, I agree that consistency between Pixel and Mac is a total mess. Transferring files is full of twists and turns. Additionally, I have to give up on AirDrop and the BLUE BUBBLE if I continue to stick to Android. Thus, I had no choice but to switch to Team iPhone in the end.

It’s kind of an unfair comparison for a few reasons. The Pixel 6 is a 2 year old phone for one. Then the 15 pro max is over double the price(when the Pixel 6 was released). It’s all subjective and comes down to your preferences. In my experience, newer iOS is actually more buggy than android. And I prefer Pixel cameras because you can edit your photos more. In particular too the iPhone 15 pros have had issues with overheating and aren’t as durable as previous iPhones.

I understand what you mean, the main point is fact that I was getting a new phone and decided to make the switch over to Apple instead of getting one of the newer Google phones and sticking with Android, because I was tired of the platform restrictions. Like you said though, that’s my personal preference to make that decision and feel that way. I appreciate your feedback!
