I’ve used apple all of my life. Finally decided to get the pixel 8. From what i can tell the only “downside” to switching is the apple commitment to making it as hard as possible for your data to not be easily transferrable across platforms. Apple works well, but only works well with apple. If you can get past this everything else is an upside. Better cost to performance ratio on devices and far more customizability. So tired of being pigeonholed screw apple.

1) No, on iOS, almost every smaller app I have tested had some ads, while on my Xiaomi 12t, I have not seen an ad since a ling time. 2) no idea what HW and SW are 3) This is a myth, Android is actually very safe. If you install a virus, that's your own fault. The reason people think Apple is safer is because they don't allow you to install anything that was not manually approved my them. Quite annoying. 4) You haven't got privacy on iPhone either. Everyone is spying on you, you just have to choose who you want to have your data 5) From my experience, Android devices are a lot snappier and more fun to use, especially when you turn down the animation scale in the settings. It makes everything feel very snappy while iOS tries to make everything smooth. Both are fine, I prefer the snappy variant because it gets you somewhere in about half the amount of time. Camera shutter speeds depend on the phone, most Androids have a Fast Motion mode or something similar, and especially the Huawei phones are really impressive in this regard, they can take a clean picture of a spinning DVD without motion blur. It's really not that difficult for Mac machines and Android smartphones to co-exist. I'm outside the US so I couldn't give two hoots (as those arrogant, entitled yanks like to say) about blue bubbles versus green bubbles. The rest of the world uses WhatsApp, Signal etc... I mean, whatvtype of people discriminate and hate on others simply because of your choice of smartphone (green bubble, blue bubble?!) Samsung makes great smartphones and Apple also makes excellent products, but come on people.

I just wanted to try iPhone and my daughter was dying for one. So I got a iPhone 13pro max. Apple is too complicated especially when you have been using android for 20 years. You find how quickly you get used to android. Google gives you more storage and more free apps. My life is google based and I can’t convert or import a lot google based apps. Hell I operate 4 emails. So basically I have 2 phones on one android device. Apple allows me access to one at a time. iPhone storage is smaller than google. The ability to adapt to because there is a standard for any android device (Samsung or LG or etc) is the best feature. The same ability to monitor and control my child’s phone was done through google just like iPhone. Nothing has convinced me to stay. In fact I’m going back to my note9 today.

I switched from the iPhone 14 Pro to the Galaxy S24, and I don’t like it. I’ve been using iPhones since 2007 and grew up with them. Over the years, I’ve tried Android devices to see if they’ve improved in terms of user experience, but my opinion hasn’t changed. Android still lacks the refined design and seamless experience I enjoy with iOS. Apps on Android are built for a wide range of devices, so they never feel truly optimized for a specific brand or model. The interface on Android is inconsistent as well. Yes, you can customize it, but I prefer technology that works perfectly out of the box. Customization often means extra work, especially after software updates that reset your settings. So, I’m going back to my iPhone 14 Pro. That said, I do appreciate Android’s file management system and the ability to connect to a screen via DeX. Those features are excellent, but they’re not enough to make me stay.

Apple Card, Apple wallet, MacBook, AirPods, Apple HomePod, AirTags, Apple Music I’m so vested in the ecosystem that I’m having a hard time trying to figure out if I could switch devices. Finally I’m in so many iMessage group chats with family and friends that I will no longer be a part of if I switch.

Do not switch.. You will regret in few days. If you think you will get something much better than iPhone if you buy Pixel you really won't.. Nice video, felt objective and to the point! About the "amazing" Apple Support Service though... How most Apple devices seem to be built and Apple approach to the repairing things is just - "Something is broken? Buy new!" wheres mostly the hardware that is built for non-apple software tends to be more repairable and you can just replace the broken part.

There's a lot of ecosystem on Android like Google ecosystem / Samsung ecosystem / Huawei ecosystem etc. You can't just say iPhone vs Android . Because iPhone has 1 ecosystem and compared it to the Android that have many ecosystem depending on the brands of the Android .

Well I can't really talk statistic, I see that apple is technically a giant only in the US due to their built ecosystem that runs through the people, but in my country Indonesia, apple is seen as a luxury brand that people don't really need to purchase if they don't need one, maybe the same in Italy as I lived there for 3 months and I didn't seen iPhone in mass number compare to the US

@@okami-z1b it took a moment to deinstall the Chinese apps and getting the Google play store via the Chinese apps store. However after that it's basically a really good android experience. The camera is amazing and the performance is great. The true upgrade was getting out of Apple's eco system since I don't have to worry about storage ,(apple cloud) or other subscriptions like apple music. And I finally can use features like multiple windows, which I don't understand why apple won't add that feature. Also my Google devices work much better on android for things like screen sharing ECT.
