Excellent review…thank you! I’m considering getting the Explore V2 30L. Do you know if a 180-600 f5.6-6.3 zoom (12.5” long) would fit in a medium cube in the 30L?

Nice video but you never mention why you switched from PD. It would be great if you could expand on the differences between these two bags to allow prospective buyers to make a more informed decision. Many thanks and again - nice work.

I own 3 Shimoda backpacks at this point and every time I watch someone else's review, I discover something about the backpacks I had no idea was even a thing... Like the whistle??? Really? I have been carrying a whistle this entire time in that backpack, but Shimoda have thought of it already 🤯

Excellent over view of the bag. I really like the cube/modular system to hold the camera and lenses, I agree there are no perfect bags, I think if that bag came in a smaller size, ( not looked at the website yet) it be nice for those who don't have a ton of gear but want a good bag, Just curious how is the weight of the bag full/empty? Awesome content on your channel!

Yeah the bag comes in 25L 30L and 35L. The 25L would make a great everyday bag but it only fits a 13'' laptop. An empty bag with a medium cube on the 35L puts the weight at 5.8lb / 2.61kg but when I have the same amount of gear loaded to both Shimoda Explore 35L V2 and Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L V1 the Shimoda somehow feels lighter even tho it weights more. Hope this helps a little!

@@jchencam nice. I had few PD bag pack, especially 30l v1 PD , always can't stand nicely, the shoulder strap is hard and my shoulder easier pain after sometime wearing it. My tech bobby XL have nice shoulder strap but less storage capacity ,and yes, can't stand easily. I also saw lots comment about how good shimoda bag,wear it for long time doesn't feel shoulder pain, what sorcery is that😂?

Wonderful review, thank you. As a woman, it's REALLY hard to find a bag. Hoping this is the one. It's coming today. 😁

@@jchencam I love it, BUT... it's actually too small for my Nikon D4 body and 70-200 assembled side access! And I have the 35 liter. 😲

Hi! Great review, I'm also looking at Shimoda. Does 35l not too big for daily backpack? Did you buy this version specific for shoots where you need a lot of gear?
@jchencam2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I got it so it carries more gear if I need to. It's a bit of an overkill for daily backpack but I've been using it daily with no problem (too lazy to switch around)
