Didn't know the duratect alpha was so high on the scale ! I have lusted on the 0100 too...citizen quartz is arguably more superior than grand seiko with the solar and instant date change (I think) . From what I read, I think GS finishings are better but I would love to see the 0100 models in the flesh. Thanks!

Yes, from what i understand GS finishing is better, citizen offers more value for more with the tech. Finishing is great on the citizen as well. Thanks for watching!

Considering a luxury watch purchase and a The Citizen with an 0600 is at the top of my list. I have two watches with SW200 movements that I paid about $400 each for, so looking at $2k Swiss watches with that same movement-that isn’t anything spectacular- is a hard sell for me. I prefer the feel of the 6R35 in my Seiko. Been looking at the Swatch brands, Ball, etc. Being able to get a super accurate, maintenance free, luxury watch in the AQ Series is very appealing to me. It’s also nice to know that most who see the watch will think I went to Jared.

I am fine with Citizen being underrated and undervalued. Until I'm able to secure one for myself anyway 😜
