I think PEQdB is a really useful tool. Thank you (and the developer) for that. But man, I can't wait for the day when the guy studying at one of the best universities in the world discovers that, no, he isn't one of the leading experts in the world in audio science. I mean, he's been calling people "idiots" for years because they don't rely on science - and I agree on the fact that only the scientific method can prove things. But at the same time, he's only in his 1st year of studying at that university, among many other students, and he'll soon discover that he's expected to prove all he's doing and saying, the hard way. I don't understand how one can rely that much (and rightly so) on scientific papers written by the best experts in the field... and say that he "won't waste his time writing papers" (he said that a few days/weeks ago). Well, kid, brace yourself. The next few years at Stanford could be a little rough if you don't want to "waste your time writing papers". I mean, you could as well stop calling yourself a "researcher" if you think that way. Ego, hubris and opinions have little to do with research.
