I agree with you Master kit, there are rods and reels from china that is durable but chip. My first jigging setup when i startes jigging is only worth 4k php, and i was able to land a massive 61kg dogtooth tuna. Thanks for you videos, i am always watching and learning a lot from you. Gos bless

Dude, i just got into jigging, my first catch was a 5 kg red snapper after weeks of trying and testing. I cant affort a new setup so ifish whit a normal boat setup. Recently went down a similar route and picked up an Ecooda cyan blue solid carbon. Though it's marketed as a slow pitch rod I compared the heaviest model (rated to 500g) having a very similar action to a fast jigging rod rated to 250g with a little more tenacity being solid carbon. Yet to test it out to see if that plays out well but the weight saving there was quite noticeable compared to using my Daiwa Spartan. Reel side I picked up a Maxel transformer f40, small reel powerful drag spooled with PE4 to which the combo weighs around 749g compared to my spin fast jigging combo at 978g

Still a heavy combo, but the weight reduction on that is already very noticable!

@@TheFishingKit my left shoulder would probably be a lot happier with less weight haha, though I've upped the line class on the heavier combo for shallower water or if there's bigger yellowtail around

@@sebbosaurusThe way I see it, to make your left shoulder happier, your wallet will be put to some brutal beatings...but either you spend once and buy the right stuff or you keep on buying until you get the right one...either way, you reach the goal...just a matter of how long you want your wallet to get beat up :D

@@sebbosaurus This combo isn't it...BUT basically still something people can relate to. Imagine if I show what I really use - will redefine wallet haemorrhage. :| same rod...different reel...another 65g shaved off, but..I don't think it would be relatable for most people.
