Why I use a 50-degree backpacking quilt instead of a 40-degree quilt (feat. Loco Libre Operator 50)

Great video! Agreed! I’m in the Houston area, hot and humid. Love my 50 degree apex Rev. from Enlightenment equipment, when it gets cold I can use my 30 degree down filled Enigma and if it gets around freezing I can layer them both and be toasty. Honestly though the 50 degree gets way more use than any of my other quilts. I have a 20 degree Apex XLong/wide and that thing takes up a ton of room so I probably won’t ever get another synthetic quilt under 40 degrees just because of the space issue.
