WHY I USE A PAINT VENTILATOR FAN

No matter how much you try and reduce overspray or spray mist, it is always on the job. For our repaints, we rely on our ventilator fan to reduce the amount of dry mist, and general overspray in the air. For the finish of our jobs, or health and the reduced cleanup for the client.

you could slap a hvac filter on the front of that blower to keep the inside of your ventilation equip. clean

Used these for years in underground utilities, specifically for venting fresh air into manholes. Now, I use the idea for my own projects. Boon for paint fumes, but priceless for drywall routing and sanding in a dust enclosure. I got a 2' diameter hose and repurpose an old 20" box fan. Kind of a HVLP version of dust extraction. And much quieter than the small diameter purpose-made fan units.

Does any overspray sucked into the tube effect the extraction point? In other words do you have to be careful where the end of the tube is placed for example against concrete or anything that the over spray sucked into the tube can stick into? Or how does that work thanks nice video been thinking about getting something like this but scared paint overspray might be blowed into things outside the house unintentionally.

I'm wondering the same. I've seen something like this used in conjunction with a filter on the front to catch the silica dust/paint specs, it might mean for less airflow though.
