WHY I'VE BOUGHT THE ANDIS SLIMLINE PRO GTX

In this video I'll share with you why I've just purchased this trimmer even though there are newer more expensive trimmer that have been released recently.

Fully agree with everything you said here. The slimline’s for detail work only. Doesn’t need to have the power of a senior LOL. I do a mix of afro and straight hair in the UK and use the skeleton FX’s to bald out and these to edge up and pattern work. Had the old regular slimline’s for 2 years and still got full power today!

The babyliss fx3 trimmer I bet u would like it.Its shaped like a slimline but dubble the power and sharpness

Yeah I’ve heard this is a beast of a trimmer but it’s not being released in the UK from what I heard which is a shame.

Right now for me its either the Babyliss Pro trimmers or the Wahl Detailer Cordless

I use the slimline after I use my magic clip to bald out. Then the slimline to get even closer then the shaver. And I also use the slimline to get into the corners and tight spaces. Because it's not as sharp as the babyliss fx, I can make a mistake and quickly correct it. Unlike the gold fx, once u set that line it's done.

Another great video, may invest in one later just got the style craft trimmer and love it and it hits really well but bauling out isn`t the best as I then use my babyliss trimmer. keep up the excellent work. Cheers Pete

Sounds like the Andis Outliner or some of the newer trimmers are better for balding than the slimline?

Have you used them for lining up your beard and if so. How does it do for lining up the beard?

Yes I’ve been used them mainly for shaping up hairlines and beards and they’re doing a great job.

If you already have a slimline pro then you might want to just get the GTX blade on its own instead of buying the entire trimmer.

Nope they’re hitting hard now that I’ve zero gapped them 😁
